Very nice for the purpose I wanted. You can protect your fabric tablecloth from greece stains and wine soils. After I got some for myself I ordered 14 for my church. Shipping came in one day for the single one and 2 days for the 14.

This isn't something you want to have on the table when company comes, but it serves its purpose in terms of protecting my table cloth. I have cats that sit on the table and one of them decided to start peeing on the table cloth. He won't do that on non-porous surfaces and there have been on "incidents" since the plastic cloth went over the tablecloth. For the price, can't beat it. Does it look "cheap"? Yes, but any clear plastic tablecloth is going to look that way. It's not super heavy weight but has held up to months of use by the humans (and cats) in my household. If you put a plate of hot food directly on it tends to stick to the plastic, so I put a cloth placemat underneath. The warmth of the plate has not affected the plastic otherwise. It does have some creases that take time to flatten out, but I bought this for functionality, not looks.

I vowed as a child I would not have vinyl in my house as an adult. Walking on those horridly rigid vinyl runners, ripping off the skin on the back of my legs from the sofa protectors, inhaling the dust imbedded in the plastic lace doilies and watching my Grandmother and great Aunts set the table on those slick vinyl tablecloths, I scoffed at the idea of every using vinyl in my home. Then I became a Grandmother, my precious Sweet Peas have humbled me and proven that my Grandmother does know best. The large round wooden table has a vibrant tablecloth laid over the wooden round surface for protection. After the first dinner with the Sweet Peas I reverted to purchasing this vinyl tablecloth protector. Do not place hot items directly on the vinyl as it will shrink and pucker. Spills should be wiped immediately away to prevent a staining residue. This is not the thick unyielding or crackling vinyl with the flannel backing I grew up with but a pliable thin sheet of vinyl. My Grandmother must be giggling at how much I've evolved into her.

Yes... I've turned into my grandmother! I remember when I was little my grandmother had one of these on the dining room table. Her's was heavy and very durable. And it got a lot of action as she was always in the kitchen cooking and there was always a crowd to feed. I got mine because I like to use old linens on my dining room table. But I'm not very good at removing stains from these old fabrics. And while the plastic cover may look a little "vintage", I don't mind. It's a lot easier to wipe the plastic than to ruin a beautiful table cloth. It's a little lightweight compared to an older style but I like that it's very clear and laid down flat on the table almost immediately. I definitely won't be putting any hot serving dishes directly on it, but I think it'll do just fine. I'm glad I got it if for no other reason that it makes me think of a very special person in my life.... plus it cuts down on cleaning!!

It’s just ok— it’s a VERY THIN “vinyl” product but works for the purpose (covering a cloth tablecloth) however, it began to look dull and cloudy after a couple of uses. Doesn’t stay clear and I didn’t use any soaps or chemicals to wipe it. It’s not weighty enough as one would expect from vinyl. Very sheer, just ok, not a really reliable like those my mother had which lasted for 40 years. This might last for probably 10 uses at best, but that’s my opinion. I did not return it but wanted to. If you only need it for a bit, then this is a good choice

Does what it was invented to do, repel stains and dust to maintain the vibrancy of your table cloth/table.

Perfect size, material and price. Goes well over any table or even another tablecloth. Will buy again. Transparency great.

Found it very thin plastic for £22.68 really not worth the cost. Also AMAZON should state which country the item is coming from in case it needs returning
