YETI Hopper M Series Backpack Soft Sided Coolers with MagShield Access

This is an awesome bag. I use it daily as a merchandiser for all my cokes and waters. It’s perfect for that. Keeps my drinks cold all day. I worked 12 hour shifts. It’s amazing being a backpack makes it so easy to transport to my and back into my house versus having a huge plastic cooler. This is so much better than my cheap Amazon backpack. It never leaks when it tips over. Overall, if you’re considering a backpack for work, get this or the small variant depend depending on how many drinks you need during the day. It pairs perfect with the yeti 3l bag for my tape and battery back up and gloves that I need for my work!

I travel a lot for work and have preferred a backpack cooler because it keeps my hands free. When my RTIC coolers zipper broke I decided to go Yeti. Since most of the time it’s just sitting in a hotel room I didn’t do an extreme test just regular room temperature. After 24 hours it’s still had a good amount of ice and the remain water was at 32 degrees. I included a photo at the end of 24 hours. Great performance. Love the magnet seal. Couldn’t be happier. After a few weeks. I see it has a slight flaw. The clips that hold the top closed should not be static, you should be able to cinch them down for tighter fit. I would also like a mess pocket on the side for a water bottle or storage.

I bought this cooler as a birthday gift for my spouse. Both its size and construction were perfect for what we were looking for. It’s an awesome, soft sided, light weight cooler. It travels well for us. Items stay cold for several days on our trip back from Florida. Great cooler for shorter day trips, like an afternoon at a local winery to keep our snacks cool or a longer road trip and carrying drinks and light meals.

After using this on several occasions such as trips to the water park, zoo, hiking, and grocery hauls, I can say that these Hopper series backpacks are seriously worth the money. Sturdy build quality! Fell off of a moving pickup around 20 mph onto the pavement and not so much as a scratch on it. Also found out on that same occasion that it does not leak! Kept our beverages and frozen burger patties solid for about 5 hours (with ice). Space is limited, but that's what full sized coolers are for. It can be tricky getting larger items like milk gallons through the opening, which is stiff and can be difficult for some to fold over and close using the buckles. The only real way to dry it out is to place it upside down while open to properly drain and air dry. All in all, worth every penny if you want a durable backpack cooler if you're on the move to keep your hands free and drinks cold. The dry bags made by Yeti also mount nicely to this cooler and are a handy place to keep your phones/wallets as well.

The Yeti Hopper M Series is incredibly durable! My husband uses it everyday! Keeps drinks cold for hours and the Magshield opening makes access super easy. Perfect for day trips, tailgates, and the beach. The backpack strap lets you be hands free to carry other things. Anyone looking for a tough, reliable soft cooler look no further.

The bag is really nice. I have not used it yet (July 2025). When you get this bag it is important to let it air out. It smells really strong of chemicals, that is the only reason for removing one star. Once that is done it is great. The seams and straps seem to be very sturdy and the closing system at the top is secure with both the magnets and the buckles. The shoulder straps extend far enough to be comfortable for most size people. I have the blue color and it is a vibrant blue that is fantastic to look at and hard to lose.

My husband loves his cooler birthday and Christmas gift! My son in law is jealous I wish I could find another one like this for 160$ The size is perfect for chilling beers and traveling to events the ice last longer and the size is perfect!

We bought this for our regular beach holidays as it has comfortable shoulder straps and a fairly large storage capacity. You are also able to attach other yeti products such as a cooler flask and the molle retractable bottle opener to it. My wife struggled a bit with the magnetic opening and closing feature but it didn't take long to get the hang of it. It stored all our food for lunch without issue. Also having the ability to attach the yeti flask externally full of ice made our beach booze lovely and cold. I chose this one as it has the kangaroo type pouch, which is great for storing items you dont want in the cooler. Cleaning just needs a damp cloth as it's a tough vinyl type material. I'm fairly sure it would float if dropped into water as its magnetic seal is excellent and shuts almost automatically. It is incredibly solid and possibly a bit on the heavy side for fitting in your suitcase but that aside I cant ever see it breaking and should last forever, hense the hefty price tag for yeti products. Highly recommended piece of kit for those who prioritise quality over cost.

Collecting yeti products is practically a hobby for me (I’m in denial that it’s an addiction) so this review might be a little bias based on my love for Yeti. But this backpack has been amazing!!! I never have to worry about anything getting warm while in this bag. Even on +30 boat days. I bought this backpack mainly for how we camp and the steep treck we take down to the boat. And it has been a game changer. Plus it takes up minimul space on the boat. I even bought the Yeti 3L dry pouch to attach to the front of the backpack which has been great to hold sunscreen and phones. It holds roughly 32 cans, without any ice/icepacks. And it does get a bit heavy. But it is a lot easy to carry compared to your standard cooler with the handles. Highly recommend this yeti cooler backpack
