Rapide Anti Mould Spray Paint, 400 ml

Living in Dubai, mould is unfortunately so common. This had slowed the mould build up and covered a few troubled areas, but it did not prevent it entirely from coming back.

Easy to use, spray on the wall then run away realising you haven't read the instructions and haven't ventilated the area properly... 🙄 Worked a treat on the walls and ridiculously good value for the money, just remember to wear a mask when using it - the fumes are STRONG

I followed the instructions, and removed the nozzle to pry up the white security ring. I'd never used anything like this before, so I was surprised it sprays such a thin layer. I incorrectly assumed it would cover like paint, instead it just finely mists the sealant on the mdf. Meh. Not what I was going for, but that's my fault as I didn't think it would be so thin. No idea if it's going to work in the weeks and months to come, but fingers crossed it protects my new outhouse shelving unit from mould. I sprayed it in the alley with a bin bag behind the mdf boards that I was spraying, and thank goodness I did! The smell is horrendous (acidic + solvent smell x500) and singed my nose for 5 hours after (pro-tip: put on gloves to spray, as it coats your hands!) 3 stars for being watery & I fear eventual disaster; added a 4th star for quick dry in 10 minutes. Not a bad piece of kit, but a paint tin may have been better.

Overall, Rapide Anti Mould Spray Paint gets the job done with minimal fuss. It effectively covers and prevents mould, which is exactly what I needed. However, the application can be tricky; it's best to use in well-ventilated areas due to its strong odor. The finish is decent, though not flawless. It's a good product for its purpose, but there's room for improvement in usability and smell management

After peeling off wallpaper in my bathroom of my new house I came across mould underneath and seeping onto the ceiling. Why they wallpapered it I will never know 🤦🏽‍♀️I can only assume previous owner didn’t ventilate the bathroom after showering properly thus causing this mould. After cleaning it off I ordered this and set to protecting the wall and part of the ceiling. There is a clear tab on the rim of the can which needs removing before you can activate the spray function. I’m guessing from other reviews saying it doesn’t spray properly that they didn’t remove this. Shook the can from side to side not up and down as instructed for 2 mins and it sprayed perfectly. Good thickness and consistency, very easy to use. For the money it has done its job and more, letting it sit overnight before I can then paint. It does say that if painted over it that it will lose some of its mould protection but I’m painting the bathroom white anyways and depending on how it looks in the morning I might not need to cover over this spray. Hoping it does its job and all in all very impressed. Thanks Amazon 💪😊
