This is a great "beginner but not too beginner" set. A friend had been talking about wanting to get into woodworking for a while so I decided to start researching and checking tool options. This kit comes with a good variety of tools and the bag/wrap to hold them all make it quite convenient. Sets like this are a great way to try a bunch of tools and explore a new hobby before upgrading to a fancier set. So far, they've all held up and don't feel flimsy or cheap so it feels like a good value considering the variety. One other little plus- the box it comes in is cute and makes a great gift box!

Awesome kit for beginners. The knives are sharp, comfortable to hold, and the variety is perfect for learning different carving techniques. The leather bag is a nice touch for keeping everything organized. Definitely worth it for anyone getting into wood carving!

This wood carving kit is such a great value! It comes with lot of different types of tools and cuts the wood like butter as they are very sharp! The carrying case is a nice touch. It easily stores the kit. The gloves are great to have as well. Very happy with this purchase.

Haven't tried them out yet. Waiting on some carving, cut resistant, gloves. BUT, the nice leather case IS NOT leather. Some kind of cheap fake stuff with no leather look to it. That would have been OK, IF it wasn't a lie, and if the knives hold out. The pouch will not hold up. Sheaths are not a good fit and cut threads on 3 just getting the blade in.
