If you're the type who has a strong opinion about how the term "anaerobic" should be used, who knows the difference between a catimor and catuai, and who haughtily scoffs when you see anything less than 1050 MASL, this is for you. Jokes aside, when you take specialty coffee seriously, you don't get better coffee mugs for a reasonable price than the Fellow Carter. Period. I've tried enough to have figured this out. There are so, so many coffee mugs out there, but the majority of them are plastic or stainless steel inside. That's a problem, as those tend to hold onto oils in coffee. Those oils eventually go rancid, and then everything coming out of that mug has notes of rancid oil. Stainless steel interiors can be cleaned a little easier, but my experience is that plastic will never let go of those oils. The solution to this is a ceramic or glass lining in the mug, which isn't as common. Glass is better, but for mugs that's a moot point--good luck finding that and double wall insulation (which is also critical for a coffee mug). Ceramic will eventually foul up with oils but it takes a while, and since ceramic cleans really easily with something like Cafiza, it's easy maintenance. So ceramic lining is the way to go. Even then, not all ceramic is the same. I don't know exactly what grade they use, but whatever it is has zero impact on flavor as far as I can tell. Besides that, the double wall insulation keeps the coffee hot long enough to enjoy and savor, the outside is a fairly high quality powder coat paint, it seals well enough that I can leave it in its side in my laptop bag without and leaks, and I think it looks great in person. Also, specific to the Carry version, the handle on the lid is nice to have if you think you'll need it.

Great water bottle! It keeps temperature extremely well and is easy to clean. I really like the handle and the simple lid design compared to other mugs or water bottles that tend to trap moisture and develop mold. The material feels very sturdy and high quality. I just wish it came in more color options, like pink or other brighter colors.

I was on the hunt for a plastic-free, spill-proof travel mug. This mug doesn’t claim to be plastic-free, but it comes kind of close. Unfortunately, the handle of the spill guard is plastic, as is the grooved part of the lid. The body of the mug is stainless steel, but the inside is definitely coated with something. Overall, it’s a very nice travel mug— and it should be for the price!! It keeps drinks piping hot for hours, almost too hot, frankly. I’ve had to leave the lid off for a long while to let my coffee cool so I can drink it! It’s withstood my first drop like a champ. A few dings and a couple of marks, but you wouldn’t be able to tell unless you were looking for it. Overall, it’s a fantastic mug, and one I’ll keep around until I find one that’s plastic-free. But if you’re looking for something plastic-free, keep looking.

Fellow has been my go to for coffee tumblers. High quality and easy to clean due to its ceramic coating. I swear my coffee taste different, the way it should taste, when I use these tumblers. Never thought I needed the splash guards but it has saved several outfits from getting coffee stains. It keeps your coffee hot for several hours, sometimes too hot that I have to keep the lid off to let some heat out but thats not a deal breaker for me, if anything it's a testament of it's ability to retain heat. It is pricey compared to other coffee tumblers but I find it to be worth it's price and have bought several in multiple sizes however if you want a coffee tumbler that delivers in quality, keeps your coffee hot while tasting great AND look good then this is your coffee tumbler. I never thought I get compliments on a coffee tumbler as people say it looks simple yet elegant.

Love this water bottle, it’s such a cute color. Since it’s ceramic coating inside, my drink stays about the same temperature throughout the day and is less likely to get moldy because of the ceramic. I have bad fine motor skills and tend to spill water on myself often when drinking, so having the grate there is very helpful. My only complaint is that the green color on the photo looks darker than it does in person. In-person, the bottle looks more like a dull seafoam color than a dark sage color.

I've only used it once, but, so far, so good. It's a lovely looking, well designed flask. The only thing I don't understand, is that the care instructions on the 'collar' outside the flask says it's dishwasher safe. While the instruction booklet inside the flask says do not use in a dishwasher. It would be lovely if Fellowes extended their design sensibilities to their instructions too!

We currently have two, the smoke green and now the Peri Twinkle. Now while I have seen comments on the weight of the water bottle specifically the handle, this is not so much an issue with me, in fact I do like it. The handle feels sturdy and I have no fear or it breaking or falling off. The water bottle itself is stainless steel with a ceramic coating. I'm a big fan of ceramic coating for bottles I instead to use for coffee, water on the other hand isn't a huge concern, it is a welcome addition however to not change the flavor. The bottle holds it's cold temperature for some time, I haven't tried it with anything hot, I don't plan on using this one for hot products. The Snap-In Splash Guard is also one of my favorite features with being able to take this to gym with all the splash backs. Defo reccomend

I bought the smaller version and this one as well. Yes, it’s expensive, but I also use them at home, not just on the go. Like most Carry mugs, it’s a little difficult to clean, but that’s not unique to this brand. What makes it stand out is the quality — much better than many others I’ve tried in the past that ended up breaking. Over the last 7 years I’ve bought more than 10 different tumblers from Amazon (UK and now IE), and this is one of the best so far.
