The cable is USB PD and successfully triggers 20v from the charger. Unfortunately, the cable overheats with 100 watt loads after about 6 minutes and causes the charger to go into thermal protection shutdown. The wiring get quite warm to the touch. This is with multiple chargers all rated for 100 watts that I’ve benchmarked before. It’s an ok cable for up to 2.5 amps at 20 watts, but don’t try 5 amps for any length of time.

I love these! I'm making my travel set up as small as possible and was able to convert a bunch of wall warts into a large USB C PD power supply and cables for every devices. These are working perfectly for my ViewSonic monitors. Be aware that not all USB C PD power supplies will provided the requested 12 volts. Always test with a multimeter before powering up a device so that you know that the power supply will do the job. BT recommended

I have a Breas Z2 travel CPAP. This cable allows me to further reduce its travel footprint by leaving behind the included power supply with it's relatively large transformer, and simply use this USB cable paired with a suitably powerful USB wall charger, or battery power bank. Be aware, it doesn't work with all charger blocks or batteries. The charger has to specifically support the 15V-3A power profile. I use these and a kit of barrel adapters to solve many of my needs to find just the right adapter. We have drawers full of usb-c adapters so this system is ideal. JacobsParts makes other voltages too, with 2-packs about the same as a replacement AC adapter. I also use them with usb-c powerbanks to power things remotely. A power bank and one of these keeps my elliptical powered for weeks if I unplug between daily uses.
