Recommended to me by a friend and she wasn't wrong! My elderly dad struggles to get in and out the car as has poor mobility. This is such a simple gadget but works a treat! Very strong once attached which is so easy to do, gives my dad something to hold onto and doesn't budget once in place so he feels safe using it to put full weight on while getting in and out. Made a huge difference. Didn't realise it also has a seat belt cutter and window breaker in case of emergency which hopefully I will never have to use but good to know it's there in case. Fits in gloves box. Highly recommend and at a great price too

Great bit of kit. Really helps my Mum get in and out of the car. It's well made and extremely useful.

Useful and sturdy. Comfortable grip. Does what it is supposed to do as far as providing a good handle for leverage of weight whilst getting out of the car.

Didn't quite fit my car (peugeot 3008) correctly, the tapered spike was a little too broad at the handle so didn't drop in all the way, I had to file it down by 2-3mm on both sides to achieve a snug fit in the hoop it locks into, (its made from an Aluminium alloy so was easy to do) it now provides a solid support to enable easy access and exit from the car. My wife found it really helpful after her knee surgery. Great bit of kit.

This has been a real game changer for me as I struggled getting out of the car with my artritic hip and nothing to grab hold of...now, this gives me extra help in getting in and out of my car.

Fitted perfectly in a 2025 Qashqai. Good quality and vreat help in getting in and out the car following a knee replacement. Handle soft but strong.

Great product and it is so simple to use. My husband can now get out of the car so much easier and quicker. It just pops in the door pocket when not in use.

I got this to help my elderly mother who has had a couple of strokes. My husband thought I'd wasted my money. But it has turned out to be quite helpful for her when getting out of the car. She grabs the arm of the wheelchair (which is put close to the car) with her (weak) right hand, and grabs this handle with her left hand, and uses it to pull herself into a standing position. (At the same time I am also pulling on her coat or the gait belt.) She actually prefers holding onto the strap above the grip handle, but also uses the grip handle sometimes. Occasionally she also uses it when getting into the car. It is easy to use and installs quickly. We start the car, roll down the window, loop this around the door frame above the window and click the buckle and it's ready to use. Adjust the length the first time it's used and then it stays at that length unless you adjust it again. After she is in the car and her seatbelt is hooked, I unclip this from the car door, quickly roll it up and put it into the pocket of the door until the next time.

Got this for my 84 Year old mom to get in and out of my truck. Worth every penny. She has to pull herself up because my truck rides high and this helps keep her from tiring too easy when we go out shopping! The product is durable, stable, and the handle is nice and soft.
