Take your time setting it up!! A little slow when you first turn it on the first time!!! Works like a Champ, has played ever disk I have put in it!!!! This is the best DVD player... It does it all, is user friendly, set up took one minute. It's quiet too.

Works as expected

Unit is not bad esp considering the price. But, sound is an issue. The processor clearly cannot keep up and tosses way too many bits away. You can actually hear that. Positives: Image quality is ok - again, no reason for me to write home. but ok; loading is fast; it is diminutive, if that is a consideration. So - for the money, it is ok. However, I will be demoting it to the office and removing it from the home theatre. No severance package.

I love it. It's small, fits right under the TV, and you can't even tell it's there. To me, that's all good since it doesn't take up much space. The other cool things are that it plays both DVDs and Blu-rays, the picture looks great, and it connects to the audio so you can change the volume with its remote. Super easy to set up and play.

Spent some time getting this thing to play blue-ray. Kept coming up switch to HMDI. There are 3 ports in the back of the monitor. I kept using the first 2, till I found out the 3rd port in HMDI. Bingo, it works. The question is how long will it work? I got a problem with these sets coming and going. Although, I do have a dvd player that's over twenty years old and plays great. I have somewhat of a collection, and I'm tired of changing the format, it's staying here. Besides, it's not all that expensive. So we'll see. And for a disc player, it has enough buttons on the remote to launch something somewhere by accident. If you have small fingers for this, you're better off. But it works, and I'm happy.

This is a low end player that works good for the most part, but lacks basic features that other players I have owned offer. If you plug into the usb to play movies, it will freeze frame for a few seconds at regular intervals. I only used a flash drive now and discovered this problem. I can live with the lack of other feartures, but this one is a deal breaker for me.
