I have a 5 month old and have been too afraid to cut his nails with clippers so I’ve been biting them instead - that’s what my mother, best friend, sister, and sister in law did and they swore that was the best method. That worked for us too until my poor little boy’s big toe got infected because of me biting his nail. I felt awful. I was skeptical of this, but bought it because of the great reviews. I immediately used it and let me tell you something, I’m OBSESSED. This gets the nails shorter than I ever could and it truly does NOT hurt the skin. There are different attachments based off of baby’s age. The attachment/grinder was basically against his skin the whole time and never irritated him or broke skin. He didn’t mind AT ALL. It’s super easy to use and the process was quick. I feel SO much more confident and better about keeping his little nails short. I’m so thankful I found this product and bought it! Totally recommend and now I have the perfect baby shower gift to get for friends.

I love this filer! My baby has no problem with me using it on her even in her sleep. It doesn’t hurt at all, keeps her safe from scratching herself, and I’ve even used it on myself. A great price, simple to use after you get the hang of it (I tried it on myself first), good quality, and easy to throw in a diaper bag if needed. The light on it is only partially useful since the placement could be better in my opinion but that’s not a big deal to me.

This is the perfect nail trimmer for babies. As a first time parent, it can be nervous, but It’s extremely safe and doesn’t hurt. It comes with different tips for various ages. The one for 0-3 month is more delicate & soft, and there’s an adult one too, which is for stronger nails . Very useful for filing mom and dad’s nails too! Highly recommend

This is very easy to use and is great for peace of mind. It stops if you press a little too hard, and my kids don’t mind using it at all. I personally think it’s easier to just use nail clippers on my newborn, because it is hard to get the edges of his nails, so they end up U-shaped if I use this. It is also a lot slower than just cutting. The light on it is basically useless, in my opinion. The filing disc mostly blocks the light, so it doesn’t illuminate the part of the nail you’re actually trimming. For my toddler, who doesn’t sit still, and my preschooler, who is fearful of nail trims, this is great. It takes a bit longer, but I don’t need to worry about the squirmy toddler accidentally being cut by nail clippers. My preschooler also likes to use it herself, which has been great on many levels. It works fine on adult nails, but it isn’t really powerful, so it is slow going.

LOVE the nail trimmer! I am a first time mom and was not sure what to use to trim my baby’s nails. I can say after several uses this works fantastic for a newborns toenails and fingernails! It’s so gentile and quiet I’m even able to cut her nails while she sleeps which is a huge bonus! I’ve also done her nails while she’s been awake and she seemed very comfortable with me using it while she was awake. She didn’t even try to pull away her hands or cry. Also, it made this process very quick for our 7 week old baby girl! I love that it comes with multiple attachment heads and tells you the correct age range to use it on. It’s so easy to pack for traveling because everything comes in compact storage case! The design in general is overall fantastic. I’d recommended to anyone searching for a nail trimmer for their child. It also came with additional nail heads and much was awesome!

As a mother to a growing newborn to now almost 2 years old. This has been a blessing! No cuts or harm to my child. He was comfortable every use even as a newborn, so easy to use, it's not heavy and fits in my hand perfectly. Removing the tips sometimes was difficult which I'd prefer so my child didn't get it and get chocked on it. He'd sleep right through each nail filing and wasn't an issue when he was awake. Absolutely love this product, highly recommend over regular nail clippers. We lost ours due to a house fire although I'm thinking of purchasing another one since it also has the different age filing tips. Also, the files last a long time and they send an extra set with the purchase. Again, I absolutely love this product and definitely recommend.

This baby nail trimmer set has some good features but also notable limitations. The 21-in-1 kit with labeled case is convenient and includes a variety of tools and replacement heads. The electric filing is generally gentle and safe for baby's nails, which is the main advantage over traditional clippers. However, I've found that it doesn't do a great job with the corners of the nails. The filing heads struggle to reach and properly smooth the nail corners, which means I often have to go back and manually file or trim those areas. This defeats some of the convenience factor. More concerning is that it sometimes leaves sharp edges after filing. I've had to do additional smoothing with a traditional nail file to ensure the edges are completely rounded and won't scratch the baby's delicate skin. This is disappointing because the whole point of getting this was to avoid any sharp edges. The device works okay for the center portion of the nails and is quieter than expected, which is nice for not startling the baby. The multiple speed settings are helpful. But given the corner issues and sharp edge problems, I'm giving it 3 stars. It's an okay supplementary tool but not the complete solution I was hoping for.
