iCrimp Weather Pack Crimper Tools for Crimping Delphi Packard Weather Pack Terminals & Metri-Pack Connectors, Waterproof Sealed Connectors

Been looking for a crimping tool for a long time without spending a fortune for them, I have tried quite a few the past few years but I couldn't get a very good result from them, they either didn't crimp the wire or it bent the connector out of shape. I came across these and I thought I would try them and to my surprise they worked brilliant, I use them to help crimp futaba and jst connectors for servos and such, they easy to hold and use and good price, they turn the tabs on the connectors nicely and give a great hold as you can see from the picture. Great edition to the electronics tool box.

Cheap and worked well as a hobbyist. If I was doing this professionally I’d go for the ratchet style. But price over suitability definitely worth buying

I wanted to throw in my two cents. I'm a professional mechanic, I use both top quality and junk tools. I have never heard of this brand, so I took a chance, and I don't regret it. I needed this semi specialist tool quickly, so I went with amazon. There's a lot of cheap junk out there. But these seem to be very solid and well made. Jaws meet perfectly and clamp firmly. I'm very happy with these, and I will be looking to buy a couple more crimpers from this company.

This is a must for any electrician. A bit expensive but does the job perfectly

Ho preso questa pinza per crimpare connettori AMP Superseal per un lavoro sulla mia motocicletta; anche se la pinza nasce per crimpare connettori Delphi Packard Weather-Pack e connettori Metri-pack devo dire che i connettori AMP Superseal li gestisce molto bene. La qualità con cui è realizzata la pinza è alta, come ho sempre constatato sui prodotti IWISS, comoda nella mano e di facile gestione, la forza per crimpare è minima ed il lavoro è pressoché perfetto, serve esercitarsi 10 minuti su come appoggiare correttamente i connettori nelle ganasce e apprendere in quale ordine utilizzare le varie chiusure che sono principalmente due: crimpatura del contatto elettrico e blocco del gommino per reindeer stagna il tutto una volta inserito nel suo alloggio nel connettore; una volta presa la mano è un gioco da ragazzi crimpare i vari connettori (a mano viene uno schifo spesso inutilizzabile). Il lavoro è svolto in modo molto pulito e viene fatto in un due fasi distinte: prima si chiudono le lamelle sul filo elettrico (posizioni 2-3-4) e poi viene fermato il gommino precedentemente inserito sul filo (posizioni 1-5), il risultato è una chiusura del connettore solida e ben fatta in particolare sulla parte elettrica, sul gommino per avere un buon risultato si deve fare un bel po’ di pratica. Preciso che al momento l'ho usata solo con terminali AMP Superseal serie 1.5 con filo con sezione 0.75 - 1.5 mm2 che utilizza il gommino giallo, sicuramente con i fili di sezione 0.35 - 0.50 mm2 che usano i gommino verdi non dovrebbero esserci problemi. Con i fili di sezione maggiore 1.50 - 2.50 mm2 che usano il gommino rosso si potrebbe faticare a chiudere i gommini ma è da verificare. In definitiva per poco meno di 21,00 € un prodotto eccellente per crimpare connettori la cui pinza di crimpaggio costa nel migliori dei casi alcune centinaia di Euro. Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto se avete bisogno di lavorare con connettori tecnici stagni.
