Works Great, Very Pleased
Like most of the country I am now working from home. I usually do work from home a couple of times a week anyway, so although the Surface Pro 6 screen is a little small for my ageing eyes, it's fine to use every now and then. Now, that I will be working here for at lest three month, I wanted to hook up the Surface Pro up to a 22" monitor to make my working day more pleasurable on the eyes. There were loads of different docking stations out there for Surface Pros, but I chose this on balance of price and customer review. Arrived today and using it now. Works perfectly. Crystal clear picture through the HDMI connection and both USBs work perfectly. Fits snugly to the SP and there's more than enough room for the power cable, if anyone is wondering. Really pleased.

Loses stars for incompatibility with cases
Most cases rely on the top corners and partly the sides to secure the surface pro. This hub sits flush with a bare surface pro but as soon as a case is fitted, it's a no-go. Condsidering most users would fit a case to protect their expensive piece of hardware you'd think the design would have taken that into account. Looks like I'm going to be forced to purchase a hub with a flying lead at twice the price :(

Firm Fit
One of the things I was most worried about with this was how it would fit in with the overall aesthetics of the Surface Pro, and if it would unbalance the Surface on it's stand - I would recommend you use the docking station with the stand tilting the device up from the flat as, although it does sit fairly flush with the Surface, it goes below the Surface by a millimetre or two. Other than that, it takes a pen drive in the USB port and you have the option of two SD card slots and an HDMI interface - I haven't tried this as the screens I have spare don't use it, and a network port, which is the one interface that doesn't lie flush with the hub

Great value for money, love it!
Does exactly what it says on the tin. If you have a surface you need one of these, especially effective if you can connect to your network with an Ethernet cable, and use a nice large monitor. Great alternative to the more expensive Microsoft dock. I did buy a different brand before this which was faulty, but this is great and super cheap!

Good product
Good product, provides the additional access points I needed.

Not a good purchase.
As others have said it cuts out the WiFi but this is not surprising since it is an ethernet adapter. The main issue is that the Surface randomly says that the device is not recognised, even after everything appears to be working. I missed the return slot otherwise I would have sent it back for a refund.

Good product
Works as it should, however the usb ports are not correctly aligned to the outer case, as a result it needs fiddling when inserting a USB device.

It’s been a couple of months and my docking station is glitchy. After about 20 minutes of attachment to my Studio it disconnects and reconnects continuously rendering it useless. I should have bought the Microsoft docking station instead of going for this affordable model cause now I’ll have to spend more. Original post I needed a more affordable option for my workplace assigned Microsoft Studio 2 laptop for a work from home set-up. I love the options for this docking station however the magnetic connection is somewhat loose connected to the laptop so can malfunction if knocked ajar. Also the manual isn’t super clear but the magnetic connection needs to be facing cord towards you otherwise it only charges and your other ports will not work. It’s a little bit annoying but like I said I was looking for a cheaper alternative. This one does the trick for the most part.

The item is not solid and not good quality. On top of that, the Hdmi port broke after couple of days. And I wasn't even unplugging and plugging. I just plugged once and it stopped working after couple of days. Avoid.
