Does the job well. All the extra grease drops in to the pan.. You do not have to worry about the bacon been to grease. No need to use paper towels. Is about the best way to eat-cook bacon.

I love that the grease drains off and the bacon isn't sitting in it while cooking and really cuts down on the time it takes to cook bacon. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this pan because I could cook more bacon at one time. The idea behind the design is good. You can, in fact, cook a large amount of bacon at one time, but it takes longer to cook. The finished product is not immersed in grease. So, the bacon tastes better. The downside is that clean-up is not as easy as I would like it to be. The drippings from the bacon stick to the bottom of the pan. For ease of cleaning, I am lining the bottom of the pan with parchment paper. The part of the cooker that holds the bacon needs to be soaked so when you clean it you do not rub off the finish. All-in-all, I love how the cooked bacon tastes using this pan.

As a bacon aficionado, I’m always looking for the best way to prepare it for maximum kudos from my family. When I saw this gem, I ordered it immediately.Once it arrived, I broke out the thick cut bacon and put this to the rest, with my family hovering to see if, indeed, this was all it was cracked up to be, and would deliver bacon perfection.Twenty-five minutes in the over (thicker cut bacon needs a little more time), and the timer went off. I took the pan from the oven, and discovered…bacon perfection. Cooked beautifully, the family began circling and asking when they could have their slices. We had to fight off the neighbors who had begun circling around the house, as the aroma began to attract visitors from far and wide. Emerging victorious, we began breakfast.After breakfast, the verdict was in. We had never had such delicious bacon before, and can’t wait for the next opportunity to use it!

Worthless! Does not cook bacon any better than a frying pan. Hard to clean and store. Finish does not last. All of Gotham steel pans we've bought have been junk. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND!

I love the rack for the bacon, fits around 18 slices with ease and the Gotham Steel makes cleaning a bit of a breeze. If I have one complaint, it's that it doesn't come that clean in a dishwasher from doing a pound of bacon. Handwashing it comes clean relatively easily, but sometimes I just prefer the easy button of rinsing and throwing in the dishwasher. Without the rack, it makes a great larger backing sheet. The Gotham Steel coating makes it rarely require any additional oil or cooking spray when using it for something other than bacon. I did find I get better results if I flip the bacon about halfway through the cooking process (around 20 - 30 minutes at 400 degrees.)

This works exactly as advertised allowing all the grease to drip away, if you like crispy bacon you do have to cook it longer. The reason I gave it 3 stars is that with all the grease dripping away and the extra cooking time all the bacon had zero flavor and a very bland taste.
