Received product in excellent condition. Metal case is strong, and all bits were in place and protected with foam from becoming dislodged from their separators/holders. All bits appeared brand new with sharp well-ground points, all were clearly marked with HSS material and their respective drill size or letter/number designation. Ti coating appeared to be uniformly applied to entire surface of bits. I’ve attached a few pictures of the package and bit set just as I opened it up; everything as advertised!I used the 7/32” bit mounted in my drill press to make 12 holes thru a 3/8” thick low carbon steel plate. The drill cut thru it like a clean sharp drill bit should. The bit never got too hot to touch, but I did use a cutting oil, and I rested a minute or two to lower the bit temperature before drilling each next hole. First impression is that these are really good bits for the money. I will update this review if my experience using other bits and materials is lessened in any way.

This is a great set. So far they've worked great drilling through soft and hard woods. Love the sturdy metal case.

Inexpensive drill bits. Shank turned-down to fit 1/2" drill. The steel is a little soft and will damage the bits when drilling steel (works on soft steel but I wouldn't recommend for high-carbon steel). The bits are sharp.

These bits cut for about 1 min then they stopped cutting. I had purchased these "cobalt" bits to drill out a wheel stud that my other bits didn't cut. I used 4 bits 17/64, 3/8 ,25/64 ,29/64, they all performed the same. I used Tapfree to keep the bits from getting hot. Don't waste your money if you need to drill thru hardened steel like I did. What a waste.

The bits seem very durable and cut through materials great. I've used them on wood, plastic, and mild steel, They seem to handle everything with ease.The 135-degree split point helps preventing any walking or wobbling during drilling. While others complain they are short the reduced size fits perfectly in my drill press and reduced shank makes them work with my power tools, making it super versatile. The aluminum carry case is a nice touch, keeping everything organized and easy to transport.Overall, this set is a must-have for any DIY enthusiast or professional. It’s reliable, efficient, and built to last. Highly recommend!

I needed an inexpensive set of small cobalt bits to take with me to help a friend who lives across state. They had an exterior commercial steel door that was frozen shut. After cutting off the hinges, I needed to drill out 24 stainless steel screws. I had considered this set of bits to be disposable and hoped to make it through the 24 screws using several of the included bits. I had no lubricant available to ease the drilling. The single drill bit that I used cut through the stainless screws--dry, mind you--like I was drilling in aluminum. The bit never even got hot. I have some very high-dollar cobalt bits and these inexpensive bits performed way better than they had any right to.I recommend them most highly!
