Great blade for crafting
I have used this for bookbinding. The ceramic blade cuts through paper and grey card very well. It is light and easy to hold and use. The knife came with a blade and cover and was a reasonable price. Additional blades seem pricey, but I haven’t needed to buy any yet.

Cutting edge?
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Slice Ceramic Blade Cutter, and overall, I am quite pleased with its performance. This handy tool offers a good weight and feel in the hand, making it comfortable to use for extended periods. However, it's important to note that while the blade exhibits surprising strength, it's not advisable to apply force onto the side of the blade as it may shatter. When it comes to cutting paper, the Slice Ceramic Blade Cutter performs admirably. It effortlessly slices through paper with just a slightly greater amount of force compared to a steel blade. This feature makes it particularly well-suited for papercraft building. The precision and control it offers contribute to the creation of clean cuts, ensuring your paper projects turn out beautifully. In terms of cutting through foam board, the Slice Ceramic Blade Cutter gets the job done, but it does require a bit more effort and patience compared to a steel blade. Multiple cuts may be necessary, and even then, there's a possibility of ending up with a slightly jagged edge. Despite this drawback, the blade's effectiveness in cutting foam board is noteworthy. One aspect that stands out about the Slice Ceramic Blade Cutter is its safety. While it does feel safer to use compared to a steel blade, it's important to remember that it can still cause injury if mishandled. For instance, running your finger along the edge with pressure can result in cuts. Therefore, it's crucial to exercise caution and avoid handing this tool to children, assuming it's entirely safe. However, when used responsibly, it offers a heightened level of safety compared to traditional steel blades. In conclusion, I have a positive impression of the Slice Ceramic Blade Cutter. Its weight and feel make it a pleasure to use, especially for papercraft building. It delivers reliable performance when cutting paper, though a bit more effort is needed for foam board. The safety benefits are noteworthy, but it's essential to handle the tool responsibly. For optimal performance, I recommend using a cutting board. With the Slice Ceramic Blade Cutter, you can enjoy the process of creating papercraft models while reducing the risk of injury

Must have tool for artists
I do coloured pencil animals and this is so good for taking off some of the pigment to create highlights and fur strokes. I like this one because it’s much easier to hold than another one I have. So much safer than using a metal blade.

Good for colored pencils
This knife is perfect for scrapping color off when drawing with colored pencils. It's got a fine tip but it's rounded and is exactly what I wanted for adding definition or lightening up an area.

Great for adding small details to drawings
Great knife for adding details and highlights on drawings. The blade is ceramic so unlike a metal blade it doesn't cut you if you touch it. Great for if you have children about and don't want a sharp knifes about. Also really comfortable to hold and feels solid and well made.

Great for coloured pencil art
I already have a metal craft knife that I have used for my art. I’m only a beginner and have struggled with not damaging the paper. This one is so much better. It’s easy to hold with a good grip and you don’t have to keep your finger pressed on any button or anything like some of the knives. I really like that it is not perfectly round which helps with grip, and with it not rolling around on a surface. I’ve tried to show it in the photos. The only downside is that the lid is not very secure. It easily drops off. For the moment, putting a piece of paper in it seems to do the trick. Otherwise I’m very happy with it. The blade will pull out if you tug at it, so the screwing mechanism to hold it in place is not perfect. For my purposes this is not an issue, but if you were using the knife for cutting up things where more stress is placed on it, it might be. The picture shows my first attempt at white fur. I did get a bit keen and managed to damage the paper in one place, but this is definitely user error. I cannot comment on longevity as I’ve only tried it once so far, but for my intended use, I am expecting it to last and I would buy again.

Broken Blade - disappointed.
I was really hoping this would be a good tool for drawing highlights for my art. However when I went to use the blade I discovered it had snapped off completely and I have no idea how it happened. Its not been dropped, just safely stored for use with its cap on (which doesn't seem to fit very well). So, if I want to try this out I need to now buy a new set of blades. Not a good start and I can't believe the durability claims after this.. disappointed.

Eccezionale. La uso per scratchbord: è perfetta, non si usura ed ha una punta che mi consente di fare segni sottilissimi. Per ora il miglio strumento mai utilizzato... tra l’altro estremamente maneggevole.

Estilo muy bonito, muy elegante y a buen precio. Recambios algo caros. La cuchilla es muy frágil al ser de cerámica, hay que tratar con cuidado.

The Slice Craft Knife feels like an extension of my hand — it's absolutely magical for drawing, sketching, and precision work. The fine ceramic blade glides so smoothly it’s almost like sketching with a whisper. I can create delicate lines, sharp angles, and intricate shapes with total confidence. It’s beautifully balanced, super comfortable to hold, and gives me complete control over every movement, just like a favorite drawing pen. Plus, the blade stays sharp and clean far longer than any metal knife I’ve used, making the creative process feel effortless. This isn’t just a craft knife — it’s a true artist’s tool. If you love working with detail, you need this in your toolkit. It brings ideas to life with such grace!
