So far so good!
We just gave this set up to my son for his 9th birthday, and so far everything is great. It DID include an extra jigsaw and sander piece. The lathe doesn’t work so great as far as we’ve experimented with, but we mainly got it for the jigsaw. It kept him busy for hours! So far we really like it and lots of family members thought it was the coolest gift ever.

Works
Actually works but the saw blades do not last long. My grandson really likes it.

Terrible quality
I was so excited to give this to my son for Christmas, however the jig blade immediately broke on first use, the lathe does not spin fully and the drill bit on the drill press falls out during use. Save your money and buy something else.

10-year-old Loves
What a fun toy! It’s been on our table since we got it because it gets used constantly. Very easy for my 10-year-old to use. It has made all 5 of my boys interested in woodworking. The motor is very cool how it hooks up to all the tools. The boys are having fun drawing designs on wood and cutting them out. Their favorite function is the saw. Even my 17 year old starts playing around with it when he’s at the table. It’s by far my son’s most used birthday gift. Great introduction to some tools they haven’t used before.

Really works, for the price a good value
This is a real mixed bag. The price point is right in the middle of value and quality. I'm an older woman and although I want to get into woodworking, the power tools scare me, so I thought I'd start here. It's LOUD. But, it works. For the thin woods included, you can cut, drill, sand, and even SORTA lathe. I have a full sized lathe and I'm afraid to turn it on. This thing spins REALLY fast, but it doesn't hold the wood well. So, I'm not really getting any practice at pushing the tool into the dowel/spindle. It flies off. But the cutting, drilling and sanding are better than expected.

Great Beginner Woodworking Kit
We gifted this wood working station to my 7 Year old son for Christmas and it was a hit. He loves to build and with this set he is able to do just that with minimal supervision. This set was designed with safety in mind. My son has an engineering mind, so while this set was able to teach him the basics, I believe he will be ready to move on to more advanced equipment very soon.

Great Setup; Unreliable Results.
The product is so close to being as it should be. It's insanely easy to set up and understand. My six year old uses it with no issues. It produces decent work for a $100 woodworking station. It's a r ally impressive way to introduce children to woodwork. The sander and jigsaw haven't given me any issues. The Obvious issues are with the Lathe and Drill. I'm not sure if it's just my particular product, or a general weakness. My drill bit has fallen into the drill hole every time we've used it. I'm not sure if it's okay to just super glue it into the bit-holder, or if the bit is meant to be replaced from time to time. The Lathe is weak. The wooden dowel needs to be tightly secured, and the lathe being made of plastic simply doesn't have the sturdiness to hold it in place as much as you'd like it to. If not, it will stop spinning when you place the carving tool against it. My worry with this is I'm going to break the plastic trying to secure it tight enough. The Lathe is more of an inconvenience, but the drill bit coming loose and falling into the hole after every use is a problem. She has to stop what she's doing, I have to take the thing apart, and then fish out the bit, which is not fun at all. I've tried just unscrewing the bottom where the bit has fallen into, but the screws are so small and soft, it's not easy to unscrew them without stripping them. If a rep could reach out to me to let me know if I can buy backup bits along with the bit-holder, I'd just buy 20 and super glue them all in. The Lathe I can live with. It really is a great product. Just minor details that need to be sorted out.

This thing works!
Bought for a 4 year old who loves to watch and help with anything dealing with tools and he would have his own. But, you cannot turn a 4 year old loose on this, he could cut his finger off! This thing really cuts as a jigsaw would, really drills holes and sands…and the wood planks are supplied. Also, you can really turn out a table leg on the lathe (really small table). This thing is great and my 4 year old can do it, and loves it, but I would not let him do it alone. Great product.
