Brabantia Bo Touch Bin - 11 + 23L Inner Buckets (White) Waste/Recycling Kitchen Bin - Soft-touch

I adore this bin, had it well over a year and its still perfect. We have underfloor heating so I wanted a bin that was raised off the floor as I didn't want the rubbish to heat up 🤣 and this has worked out perfectly. It's a stunning shade of green, and its very stylish - everyone always compliments the bin 🤣 I've been impressed with the quality and its relevatively light but feels high quality. It is expensive, but I think it's been worth it for us as other cheaper bins have broken easily or just not looked as nice on display, so I would rebuy in the future if it does break as i think its been worth the price. Lid is sturdy, we use it for our main rubbish bin so it gets a lot of use and had zero issues.

I love this bin. It’s stylish & looks good! Easy to change bags, lid closure is good. More pricey than some bins but it’s not your typical boring bin.

Great bin Looks a real quality item

Just received my trash bin and have taken it out of box and assembled. Based on my initial reactions: Color: 4/5 Slight off white color. I read this from other reviews but proceeded to buy anyways. In my picture, you’ll notice the slight shadow difference in whiteness between the bin and my white counter. But this doesn’t really bother me (although might to some). Appearance and build: 5/5 When I first saw it, I thought the legs were silly looking. But now I like them! I didn’t need a big bin, but I didn’t want a small bin where I had to bend down to use and I wanted an easy to open/close mechanism. I also was looking for a combined waste and recycler option. This bin checked all my requirements. The legs are great for giving height and I don’t have to lift or move to sweep under. Also they’re equipped with adjustable rubber bottoms so the bin is leveled and doesn’t scratch floor. Easy to use and clean: 4/5 You can’t take out or replace liners without removing the top which is a slight peeve. Fingerprints are also noticeable on the white coat (but not lid which is nice). The liners they suggest fit perfectly and snug so that was great too. The lid also works great and is fairly secure as long as you don’t move the bin. Durability: 4/5 I could foresee the bin being dented if it toppled over. Seeing how expensive it was - that’s not refreshing to know. However the plastic on interior and legs seem strong and well made.

Expensive but a nice size bin

Terrible quality control. Bought 2 and both delivered heavily damaged. Completely unreliable.

I did worry about paying this much for a bin, but most unexpectedly, it's worth it. The bin is so easy to empty, being more vertical than horizontal, that I do wonder why the horizontal design has lasted without being challenged for so long. It is so incredibly easy to empty a full bin and put a new bag in it that I only wish more of life's struggles were so easily resolved. It also seals in smells, when closed, and has so far proven dog-proof - which is the main reason I was willing to pay so much. My dogs have yet to knock this one over and spread the contents all over the kitchen floor. I wasn't going to go to the extra expense and trouble of buying the purposely-made bags, but when I saw how well the bags that came with the bin fitted... I now buy them off Amazon. My only worry is that the catch that keeps the bin closed looks as cheap as those on all the other cheap bins I've been through, and so I worry it will stop working at some point. And this is not a cheap bin to lose.

I did not think that a trash can could change my life, but this one has. In a good way! This is a beautifully built trash can that arrived in perfect nick - I love that I can vaccuum under it with ease, and it fits right in a little disused corner of my kitchen. The footprint of the trashcan is the TRUE FOOTPRINT of it, because the lid opens without disturbing the wall behind it. The lid is very easy to operate, and I love that you can easily lift it off to clean it or remove the bags. Assembly was easy and perfect the first time. I've used the bags that came as a sample with the product, and I prefer them (they're also compostable), but have a cache of 13 gallon bags from a certain popular trash bag maker whose name is synonymous with "happy". Those fit fine, too. I'll note that I had a larger (13 gallon) single trash can before this, with a step pedal. I thought I'd miss the larger capacity and pedal opening, but I do not. It's worth the smaller trash load and beautiful new design of this model to empty the garbage more often. For a family of 2, we empty it about twice a week with normal usage. Overall, so thrilled with this investment. It makes throwing things away and taking out the task a genuinely enjoyable one. (I never thought I'd type that sentence, but it's true.)
