Industries Kadet Sling Messenger Bag – Crossbody Backpack for Women and Men w/Quick Release Buckle

I was looking for something I could sling over my shoulder and take with me on hikes or excursions where I wanted to bring my drone (DJI Flip) and my Osmo Pocket 3 camera. Previously, I’d lug around two little camera bag type things, one for each. However, with this bag, I’m able to do all of that in one go. I keep my DJI flip, controller (RC2) and the three extra batteries in the charger thing, inside of the main compartment. In the front pocket I keep my DJI Osmo pocket 3 (inside of the grip case), the battery extension handle, a little case with various lens filters, and extra USB battery for the camera and my phone. All this gear fills up both of the pockets neatly, and perfectly. What’s better is i just leave all my gear in this bag, so when it’s time, i can just sling it over my shoulder and go. The weight is distributed nicely ( not too heavy) and I like that I won’t stand out when going to places with my gear. I just look like a regular person, but more stylish! The bag thus far has proven to be durable. While I haven’t been caught in a full on rainstorm, I have been in the rain with the bag for an extended period of time. None of the water got into the main compartments. It has made traveling with my gear so easy. I also love the buckle strap. It’s so cool. I’d say you get what you pay for with this bag. It’s great.

Pros: Built Tough, Quality Materials and Construction , Perfect size and comfortable. Cons: Buckle is secure but rattles a bit and I wish would have come with a zippered interior pocket. You have to purchase organizer separately ,I did and am currently waiting on. Overall I would definitely suggest this coming from a seasoned gearhead.

This has quickly become my favorite “everyday” bag. It’s the perfect size for a day bag. It can fit a full size 10” iPad. It is a little small to be able to fit full size pads or folders. Keys, phones, first aid kits, tablet or books will be right at home with room to spare. These are perfect for commuters of the two wheeled variety. I commute on my motorcycles in the warm months and this bag is perfect for that. It can hold all my daily stuff and still leave room for extra stuff as needed.

Purchased this back in 2020 and use it often when I need to carry around my belongings to work or when I am out and about and want to travel light. I find that this is a great little bag with the caveat that i got it on sale. Would I pay full retail price for this? Absolutely not. And that is not because of the quality or whatever, but you can find bags that are extremely similiar to this for a fraction of the cost. So in terms of value, this gets 4/5 rather than 5 stars. "Iconic" buckle is a cool novelty, but it can be annoying at times due to the weight. If you're not careful it can scratch things, eg your car or cabinet. The front material on the face of the "Night" Model scuffs up fairly easily and can be a real eyesore. It is capable of holding Ipad mini, a really compact folded jacket, a 16oz water bottle. Glad I got this on sale for $76. It serves my needs for work, looks good, and is convenient.

The Amazon images make the mauve seem A LOT more pink like I was hoping. It’s more neutral than expected but that could be a plus causing less friction with other clothing. I’m keeping it regardless… it’s still a great bag with enough room for all day outings on street or trails. Seems VERY well made with water resistant zippers. You may want some type of organizer to keep your stuff from rattling around. Note for the ladies…it’s very adjustable so it won’t dig into your chest. I’m a 36D and no worries.

This sling is great. I think it could be slightly better by having the insert you can buy already in it. It is a very natural need to give you more sections to hold items instead of dumping it into the main section. One other add that could make it greater could be a small handle on the body. You can easily make do with the straps but it would be better with a chunkier handle. Overall great item with a good amount of room.

Extremely inconvenient. Do not waste your money on this product—you will regret it 100%. It gets dirty at the slightest touch, and scuff marks appear within just two days.

MYSTERY RANCHのHIP MONKEYからの買い替えです。 普段HIP MONKEYに趣味の一眼カメラを入れて持ち運んでいたのですが、出先でペットボトル飲料+αを買ってしまうとそれだけでギチギチになってしまうのが不満でした。もう少し大きい物を探しこのKADETにたどり着きました。 とにかく容量が大きい！です。HIP MONKEYは容量8L、KADETは9Lとなっていますが体感では1.5倍以上の容量差があるように思います。一眼カメラにそれなりの大きさのレンズを装着してしまってもまだ500mlのペットボトルが入り、さらに薄手ならカーディガンまで収まります。本当に9L？逆サバ読んでる気がします。 重要なのはこれだけの大容量なのに見た目はちゃんとボディバッグのままというところです。 私はボディバッグ・ウェストポーチ・サコッシュなどを体の前側に下げて行動するのが好きなのですが、これらのバッグは一般にあまり容量には期待できません。さりとてメッセンジャーバッグのサイズになると前側下げではさすがに不格好だし動きづらくなります。 ところがKADETはベストバランス。容量はしっかりあるのにボディバッグらしい見た目や取り回しの良さは失っていません。 気になるところはシートベルトバックルに傷がつくのが気になってしまうところでしょうか。それと両サイドから指でつまんでリリースする一般的なプラのバックルと異なりワンプッシュでバックルがリリースされてしまうので、カメラを入れている状態だと不意に何かがぶつかってバッグが落下しないかが心配です。 また出先で歩いている間は体に装着しているのでいいですが、電車や車で移動するときや飲食店に入るときにはしばしば手持ちで移動することがあるのでハンドルがついていないのは惜しいなと思います。
