I used it to connect a Shure sm57 dynamic mic to to my keyboards mic input and it worked perfectly. I have bought another adapter from Amazon and it had the wrong pin orientation. The build quality is excellent compared to the price.

I found it hard to find an adapter that had a female XLR on one end and a quarter inch 6.3am mono plug on the other, but I found this and it's perfect. It converts my XLR mic to 6.3mm. Zero interference, high quality.
