It will only take letting a friend try your Quest 3 one single time, and they give it back for your turn and the headband is cold with their sweat.First, I was baffled as it was only walkabout minu-golf... but hey some people are just sweaters, but secondly I was very grossed out.The very next day I was shopping for solutions to this issue and bought this thing. Works pretty good, easy to put on. Not the most secure thing in the world, but yeah it's a lot nicer than getting your headset back covered in -someone else's- sweat.

There are several different options for facial interface upgrades but if you don't want to spend the money on the kiwi and you want something that works just as good but it costs a little bit less than I recommend getting this.For small amount of money you can make your quest a lot more comfortable against your face for longer plays sessions and not feel discomfort or too much pressure also there doesn't seem to be extra fogging that comes from this and it breathes very nicely.I'd say if you plan to spend an extra 50 bucks to 100 bucks to upgrade your quest and you want to spend your money more on something like an extra back strap that cost money or a battery system then you want to save your money then get this because you'll be able to use your money for that but also make your facial interface more comfortable.I also have the Kiwi version and this one works just as good it again it's not too soft not too hard doesn't add any extra pressure and doesn't irritate the skin.I recommend getting this if you're on a budget and you want to spend your money on other more expensive upgrades but you still want a more comfortable facial interface

I tried this out to try to provide a cover on the face mask so that when people use it and sweat, it isn’t getting absorbed into that foam. That’s just gross! This little silicone slip was easy to install and does the job. I can recommend it for the same usage!

I was hesitant to order this; I couldn't believe something so inexpensive could work as advertised. I am so glad I gave it a chance! I love the cloth cushion on my Quest 3 for gaming, it is so comfortable. But I have started working out in VR and noticed it was damp with sweat when I finished, which was grossing me out. I didn't want to switch out the whole face every time I worked out, and I didn't want to go silicone for everything as it makes me break out. I decided to try this because of the price and ease of use and boy is it great! I can't believe how much sweat was actually dripping down my face the first time I used it, and I am so glad that is not going into my face cushion anymore! It is so easy to peel off and wash for the next use! If you are thinking of getting this....DO IT!

The product slides and doesn’t grip the metaquest face mold very well

Fits on the quest but is a loose fit comes off the quest when taking the headset off sometimes and is mildly irritating

This is so much better than the one that comes with the Quest! I wear my headstrap fairly tight and the original interface would cause a waffle pattern after a couple hours of gaming. I absolutely LOVE this smooth interface! I don't know if it's going to make me sweaty but so far even with playing fairly active games I haven't noticed any issues. I can finally game without getting waffle face! I would definitely recommend to anyone that doesn't like the feel of the original.
