Great laptop with lack of ports and fixed RAM.
During normal usage with power modes set to "Best power efficiency" or "Balanced" and the fan on "Quiet" or "Balanced," the laptop remains extremely quiet. Thanks to its advanced lithography-based chip, energy consumption is remarkably low, with minimal performance impact from reduced voltage. Even after gaming, temperatures remain exceptionally low. The main drawbacks are the limited port selection and soldered RAM. However, as long as you manage your workload efficiently—avoiding excessive multitasking during intensive tasks—performance remains stable. The lack of ports can be mitigated with a USB dock featuring HDMI and RJ45 Ethernet. Overall, this laptop is a solid choice if the price aligns with your budget.

No network adapter
I really like this laptop—it performs well and meets my expectations overall. The only drawback is that it doesn’t include a wired network adapter; it relies entirely on Wi-Fi. While this works for most tasks, I’m unsure if Wi-Fi alone will provide the stability needed for competitive gaming.

Fast and handles everything
This thing is a beast! It's a great gaming laptop and the build quality is excellent. It has the current i9 Ultra AI cpu and a 4070 GPU so it's lightning quick. With 64 gb of RAM built-in it handles everything you can throw at it. It does get a bit noisy, and I'd have preferred the USB ports and power jack were put elsewhere just for convenience. But the screen is fantastic and it's a nice-looking machine with its metal shell.

Beware of seller
** Returned bad computer but seller didn't issue a full refund-Don't buy ** I recently purchased the Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 with an RTX 4060 GPU and 16GB of soldered RAM for just under $1100 to replace my aging 2018 Asus Rog FX504. My priorities were a decent battery life (7–8 hours) for app development and casual gaming—and while the machine delivers in some areas, it falls short in others. The Good • Strong performance – Handles compiling, schoolwork, and most games well. • Nice screen & keyboard – Comfortable typing experience and good display quality. • MUX switch support – Allows switching to integrated graphics for battery savings. The Bad 1. Battery Life Disappointment – Out-of-the-box, it barely reaches 3 hours under normal use. Even after adjusting settings (lowering brightness, optimizing power consumption, and enabling eco mode), I could only push it to 6–8 hours under very light use—far from the advertised performance. 2. Crackling Speakers – Audio crackles and pops, particularly on YouTube videos. No fixes so far. 3. Awful Webcam – Somehow worse than my 2018 laptop’s camera. A blurry, grainy mess. 4. RAM Limitation – 16GB is soldered and non-upgradable, with usage consistently at 80–90%, limiting long-term performance. This wasn't a deal breaker when I was looking at it, but after 3 weeks of use, it is not optimized well. Final Verdict Overall, while the Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 had the potential to be great in terms of performance and build quality, it was undermined by terrible componets: the underwhelming battery, problematic speakers, and terrible camera have lead me to returning it—especially when similar models with better features are available for just a bit more money.

Good value, great performance.
Very happy with this laptop, great performance and value, very easy to add extra storage as well. The Predator application (which allows for the overclocking of the CPU) could use some work though as it stops working fairly consistently and laptop will need to be rebooted in order for software to begin working again.

Great laptop
Powerful, easy to use, clear screen, fast, long battery life, quick charging, great heat resistance and cooling fans. Quite when the fans are on anything but full speed and worth every dollar.

Good price to performance ratio if found on sale, mediocre battery life.
Pros -Great cpu, gpu power performance to price ratio if on sale within the 799$ range or less. -Chassis feels sturdy and high quality. Cons -Intel chips still provide mediocre battery life compared to AMD equipped laptops, from full charge to almost 0 can net around 5 hours of standard web browsing/video streaming @ 30% screen brightness eco mode. -Memory is not upgradable -Slightly heavier and bulky compared to competing 14inch gaming laptops. razer, asus rog g14 I recommend to spend a little more if you can find Asus Rog g14 2023 model is sometimes goes on sale for around 1000$ through best buy. Will provide much better battery life around 8 hours, smaller and lighter profile, memory is upgradable, better screen and rtx 4060...just better value overall.

Dependable, Customizable, and Easy Handling.
Getting used to everything this laptop could do and what I needed to do in order for it to work at its best has been a really fun journey, I imagine there are better laptops out there for nicer prices but I'm not at all disappointed with this laptop and won't be looking to replace it for what seems to be a long time. It was purchased with the idea in mind it would be able to at the very least run the newest games for atleast the next 4 or 5 years, and as long as it does that, this is a completely reccomendable product.
