Climb X Rave Strap Climbing Shoe

Great shoe for a great price! The sizes are sized for climbing, which means that even if you order your usually sized shoe it will be tight almost a size smaller. If you go to the Q&A section on Amazon they explain the sizes. I believe that the sizes listed are in men’s but all of this is explained in the Q&A section. I am a women’s 8.5 and I didn’t want the shoes to be super tight so I ordered the men’s 8.5 from the website. They fit perfectly with socks and are great for top roping outside. My boyfriend is a men’s 10 and ordered the men’s 10. He wanted the tight fitting climbing shoes so they fit perfect. If you were not wanting a tight fit I would order up. We mostly climb outdoors. So far, our shoes have performed very well in a variety of conditions. We have used them on damp rocks too. These are my favorite pair of climbing shoes that I have owned and I am confident that they will last years into the future. They are very durable and comfortable. Easy to put on and take off. They are also lightweight.

I had a friend take me indoor rock climbing for the first time in ages. Because I didn’t know if I was going to like it or not I just rented shoes while I was there and I ended up spending the entire day there and going back the next day because I liked it so much so I talked to a couple girls at the gym and they recommended these shoes so I came home and ordered them that night. I typically wear a size 9, so I ordered a nine and a 10 so I could try them both on at the same time and see which one fit better. The nine did the trick so I returned to the 10. The shoes are made very well. I have plenty of movement in my foot while wearing them and they grip the wall amazingly so I don’t feel like I’m going to slip. The only downside is since I’ve gotten them I haven’t been able to hit the rock climbing gym put a handful of times just because I’ve been so busy, but they will definitely get their use.

Good shoe, back is a little stiff on my heel. Ordered 2 sizes up, and it's comfortably snug.

Bought these for my kid after he outgrew his first kids pair of climbing shoes. He uses these for indoor top roping and bouldering at least twice a week and loves them. They fit great, have plenty of stick, and the Velcro makes it easy to get them on and off. They're also pretty reasonable when it comes to price compared to other climbing shoes. We have pretty good confidence that these will hold up indoor climbing till at least his next growth spurt.

These beginner shoes are amazing! I asked a couple of friends that have been in climbing for over 10+ years if these were good beginner shoes and they said yes. I also read the reviews on these shoes before getting them and they seem to be right. At the beginning I would fold and fold these shoes so I can stretch them out a bit since my pinky was getting squished but that's what I wanted, slightly tight. If you want them slightly tight, even after wearing them for a bit, then I recommend getting your same size. If you don't want them as tight then size up one. I am a woman size 9 and got the men's 7. They're finally more comfortable after wearing them a few times and slightly more stretched out which is awesome. I do wear my shoes with socks though, I haven't tried without them. Overall these are amazing shoes and I really love them.

I purchased two pairs of these the first one to toe area is so hard that it actually hurts. So I gave them a second chance and purchased a size up. Definitely did not make any difference. It feels like your toes are up against a rock. Do not recommend

Super comfortable shoe, fit the best out of many climbing shoes I tried. Tight but not horrible and at a good price point. But they have NO ventilation. I’ve used a multitude of brands when renting and no shoes have ever made my feet so sweaty and held the wetness inside. I was worried I was going to get blisters. If you don’t have hot feet, maybe they would be fine but I was in a cool gym and my feet were HOT.

Great climbing shoes. My son (9 years old) has been climbing with them for 6months 3days a week now sign of damage.

I just started rock climbing. I climb indoors at a local climbing gym and have used these for top rope and bouldering. I would normally take a size 10.5 from the rental shoes and those shoes were tight and cramped my feet. These Climb-X shoes are a 9.5, they were the only ones available in a size close to my size. I bought them based on the price and I knew that I was buying a shoe that was smaller than I would normally wear. It is hard to get my foot in them but once my foot is in the shoe, even though it is very tight they are very comfortable. I can climb for over 90 min with no problems. I should say, that I have to go without socks to get my foot in. After the first 4 or 5 times, the shoes have stretched a little bit, and that makes them more comfortable. They are great beginner shoes for indoor climbing.

If you have wider feet, this is a good choice. I found sizing to be accurate to my normal sport shoes. Only complaint is there is a wear spot near my small toe on both feet, but at least it doesn't feel like I've put on a pair of vices whilst still being a good fit.

As a non-climber, the shoe feels tight however I understand this is important for performance. It is still comfortable nevertheless

Recomiendo estos zapatos para principiantes o para uso muy rudo. La durabilidad de estas gatas es increíble, no he tenido que reendularlas y les he dado uso rudo. La calidad del interior del zapato es buena y aunque un día se mojaron mis zapatos no se olieron. El zapato obviamente es estrecho a lo ancho pero se ajusta bien con las tiras de Velcro.

Wry good beading and feel. Had some good climbs in them. However just lil small for me.
