Material quality is good sturdy and light weight. Sensitivity of touch to turn on or mute pretty sensitive only need to tap once. Sound quality is good clear. Love the RGB colors you can change with a tap as well.

It sounds so much better than the one on my headset and it works so well canceling out any background noise. My recordings sound amazing for my context and I can’t wait to use it to stream. It is so small that I can put it on the side so it’s not in the way of casual gaming. It’s so easy to use and I am so excited to use it more often.

I'm a firm believer that the best things don't break the bank, it's just a matter of research and comparison. This is my second Maono microphone, and I've tested this one out for over three months. I knew I'd be happy with it even before using it, but I never expected to be so head of heels. This is the highest quality desktop mic I've ever had at such an inexpensive price. It captures the clarity of my voice well. It's so clean and clear and crisp. It's got the option for noise cancelling at the top with a long press next to the mute. It works well, especially if your mic is right next to your keyboard like mine, or if you have a fan in the background. I tend to keep it off, but even then it does an incredible job. I love that it's plastic? That may not be a good thing for others, but it's sturdy and lightweight which is just my preference. The aesthetic is great! I got the clear, retro purple 90s aesthetic one. Reminds me of a gamecube! The colors are smooth and not distracting. Super eye candy. The knob at the bottom for gain is easy to turn and I somehow turn it too low sometimes, which is my only gripe, but it's really insignificant to me. Please look into this mic and this brand and DON'T waste your money "high quality gaming mic" brands.

I hope it is just the one I received, but this mic is horrible. The sound cuts out half the time, if it even records at all, and despite being the appropriate distance from me and tilted at the correct angle, the sound quality and volume is awful. I have to boost my computer volume all the way to hear it at all during playback, and when it comes through it sounds muffled. I've played with the gain a little, and that doesn't seem to change anything. I also downloaded their management app from the website, and that doesn't seem to make any differece either -- although maybe this mic is too simple for the app? Tough to say. I purchased for a simple tool to record some book audio for my kiddo, so the usage is fairly simple and doesn't require super high quality either--but this is unacceptably and hilariously bad. I have started the return and replace process. I'll update this review if the next one works better! Otherwise, I have no idea how this has so many good reviews, mine was cute purple trash.

I gave this to my wife and she loves it. The mic quality is great. it has privacy modes. It connected to the computer very easily. Its a perfect size and it small enough that it does not get in the way. Sound quality is so much better then using a camera microphone. The transparent purple color is so cool looking.

Yeah I am still on the fence with this one. The plug that connects the USB to my computer doesn't really seem to work well together. So sometimes my computer has trouble knowing it's actually connected with the microphone so I haven't figured that one out quite yet. There are some settings that you can change that will give you a little bit better sound quality. But overall it's really an inexpensive microphone and it's obvious to me and I haven't used terribly many myself however this is probably my fifth one and this is probably the lower end for me I'd rather spend more money to get more quality microphone then I find with this one. I feel that the lights in a little flashy things are just a distraction from the lack of quality. It's just okay nothing extremely exciting or anything I should hurry to write home. It's like 95% plastic and it just feels really flimsy especially if you want to make any adjustments to the microphone while it's on the stand that it comes along with. And there is a cord that connects the microphone to your computer that is included but like I said my connection on my cord is faulty as my computer doesn't like to recognize the microphone. That's why I gave only 3 stars, inexpensive and basic.

For a US$37.99 list price "gaming mic" with noise reduction, this is a pretty good little thing that gets the job done. I LIKE the fact that it has a "volume" control as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack to monitor the sound. While this won't win any award for sound quality - especially at the low end of the spectrum - it does a more than adequate job in the typical voice band which it was designed to handle. I didn't really have a way to consciously test the built-in noise cancellation so I won't rate it on that. I was pleased to see that they configured this with a shock mount to help minimize the gaming keyboard pounding from telegraphing through to the audio through the desk and mic stand. The "biggest" issue with it is that the entire thing is plastic which means that it may not stand up to much (unintentional) physical abuse that could leave it cracked and/or broken. AND at the $38 price point you're unlikely to find a metal base or body for a consumer style microphone which is targeted for use by gamers. 4 stars for functionality and feature set.
