Used this to upgrade an old Surefire P6 lamp and button feature. Be realistic and do not expect this item to turn a 2007-era P6 into a handheld version of the Surefire X300 Turbo. It has the same light output of about 100lumens, cleaner light flood, smooth light print on a wall, better and easier light activation on the tail cap. Better clicking compared to the older and worn out one. For now, clicks, activates and stays on as intended. Works well for an update to an older light that does not washout to a blinding light against a white wall. Your situation may be different.

Ever since I was in the US Army, I have used Nite Ize products. I used to carry two of the little AA battery sized flashlights under the Army's policy of "2 is 1, 1 is none." Always have a spare. The little AA Maglite flashlights with this kit installed last longer (LEDs use less power) and are significantly brighter than the stock bulb. The kit is durable and nearly soldier-proof and a good value for the money upgrading a cheap flashlight. Installation is so easy even a caveman could do it. My only complaint is the size as the LED bulbs hit the flashlight lens cover and bends it when in the off position.

I have a couple old old flashlights i found in some of my camping boxes and the lenses were pretty trashed. Decided to try this upgrade and it definitely brought them back to life. Much better light from it now but to be fair on what the kit is, its not turning the mini into a blazing spotlight.

I thought going LED would make my flashlight brighter. No no, and def not by much. Not to mention that with this set up, you cannot change the focus of the light, to make it thinner or wider ray. Lastly, the pressure put on the led holder has to be just right, if it's too loose or too tight, the light won't even come on. I fell kinda ripped off.

It was easy to install in the Maglight flashlight, and the light beam is very bright and adjustable.

Great conversion product changed my old flashlight from 30 years ago. Now instead of changing burnt out light bulb we now use the new led bulb and now a push button on/ off makes it so bright and easier to use...
