A great reference book for Chinese Aircraft buffs

Nice book describing aircraft with out being too heavy reading

There is not much information publicly available for the secretive air power of China. This is especially true since Observer's books and Jane's pocket books stopped publishing. So this is a good book for introduction into that sphere. What I would have liked is detailed three viewed drawings which are usually included in technical books. Something that will put this book in the "beginner's" catagory.

I like the author of this series of books, it's a fascinating insight of the Chinese military aircraft

Covered all the major airframes. Several older, but still in service, airframes were left out. Limited detail on each aircraft due to space limitations.
