Clicker press
Great machine works with very little effort. Good design.

Heavy and sturdy.
It's big. It's heavy. It's a little dirty (but it's a machine, so that's to be expected). It also comes in a fun wooden crate. It came with one retaining bolt unfastened and the other loose, but was easy to securely attach. All parts accounted for. It includes a rather substantial wrench for adjusting the height of the plate. It appears to be set correctly out of the box so I haven't had to make adjustments yet. The action is smooth with the addition of a little bit of machine lube. I just have to wait for my custom die to come in the mail to really test it out. Great value for the cost of you don't want to drop $1600+ on a manual clicker press.

Great little press for the intermediate leather worker
The product came in a sturdy wooden box with no damage, and placed in my garage, which is a good start. It was extremely heavy, as indicated on the box that it should be carried by 2 people. I was able to take the press apart and carry the separate pieces to the room where i was able to set it up. Setup was extremely easy. I used a 4ft level to ensure the press was level. I purchased additional nylon boards as well as steel plates if needed (which i believe will be needed to keep the steel blades from moving in the die cuts). Previous reviews suggested there might be a problem with the gap where the nylon boards, die cuts and leather are placed, but i found it easy to make the opening larger as necessary. No missing parts. no chips or damage. easy to set up. easy to modify the gap. The only thing that would make this perfect, would be a small level bubble affixed to the press itself and a steel plate the same size as the nylon board. I will continue to use the press with multiple die cutters and stamps and will update my review if needed.

This will destroy your dies and does not work at all.
Terrible product that is completely unusable. It doesn't apply even pressure AT ALL, and it has hidden bolt holes in the plate that will damage your dies. Those those two design flaws will destroy any die you try to use with this. I wish I could return it, but the return window closed. Now I have a giant useless monstrosity that cost me a ton of money and there's nothing I can do with it.

shipping damage but a solution- and the tool works perfect.
the tool is solid good quality! Because the box was slightly destroyed in shipping, for the weight of the tool, the box is weak. the two main bolts were damaged in shipping, a nut that secured the bolt to the metal plate was missing, the other nut was hit and it stripped the threads- NO BIGGIE- still a quality built tool. Solution- remove the two large bolts/anchor bolts, turn them upside down, putting the stripped threads on top, which doesn't matter having damaged treads on the top side. buy two new nuts, slice them in half with a cutting wheel (be careful, use a vice to hold the nut). Secure them on the underside of the metal base plate, tighten the two top nuts and the two main bolts are now secure. at this point your back in business!

Pretty good machine that arrived in terrible condition
As you can see by my pictures, the machine did not arrive in good condition. I found it on my driveway with the crate upside down. It appeared that one of the wood blocks which would’ve held it off the ground for a forklift to get under it was broken off. And the crate was barely holding together. Peeking inside the gaps, I could see that the machine was tipped upside down just floating around inside the crate. It was not secured to the crate at all. After removing it from its box and getting it right side up, I had to set about putting it all back in working order. The pillars were totally loose. One bearing was slid partially off of its journal and not seated properly. So after tightening everything up and getting it adjusted level. I was able to set it up to try and use it. The Machine in use actually works pretty good. My only complaint is that there’s not a whole lot of travel. If your die cutters are not all the same height you need to make adjustments in the height of the press plate. Not the end of the world but annoying. I gave it four stars based totally on the Machine itself and did not remove any stars because of the shipping. All in all, I’m happy with the purchase. Luckily, I was handy enough to put it all back together and get it all tightened up square and straight. Thankfully, there didn’t appear to be any permanent damage from the poor shipping.

Best press for the money
After a little bit of adjusting and leveling out the cutting surface of this machine this has to be the best leather working tool I have ever bought I saw the reviews I expected it to come in in several pieces and I would have to do a lot of work on it that was not true the wooden box was Secure and everything was in it all I had to do was put the handle on level the bed and bring it down to where I need it to cut I have to barely move the bar and it cuts perfect I have to say I recommend this a lot I was watching another video and I was told to go get an arbor press to do the same thing well that did not work out well so I ordered this from Amazon the vivor die press and I have to tell you it is by far the best thing I have done I think I said that once before so I brought the Harbor Freight press back and also the price was great for this press

A press that almost hits the mark
It's great for the price, considering the sheer size of the work area. However, the striking distance is very shallow, meaning you can only put really flat items under it. The main problem is that the handle isn't long enough to produce the leverage required for cutting on such a massive press. It's almost like they never actually tested it at all. I had to find a 24 inch threaded solid steel rod to use as a custom replacement handle in order to generate enough force to cut, and even then, I am bottoming-out the spring, and it just BARELY manages to cut through my materials. Sometimes, like 1 in 10 cuts, it fails to fully cut. Which is honestly way too often and results in a lot of defects and wasted resources. Despite the issues above, it's still the biggest press I've found for the price point, so there are simply no alternatives to compare to.
