A substantial and reassuring product in terms of weight, size and durability. This is a product that you will find varies very dramatically in price. there is only one 8 channel version made by this company that mounts on a wall (check the product code) but the price will convince you to begging with that there are many. This unit can either sit alongside and operate independently of the handheld remote equivalent, the wi-fi app and fixed switching. That is all down to you and your programming choices. One thing however, (unless I am doing it wrong) ANYTHING you want to operate from this but is already working from others, must be re-coded/ paired to this unit too. When you have vast garden landscaping projects to reprogram for the customer alongside their existing remote control and wi-fi interface, prepare yourself for a long and stressful day & night . It is a complete pain in the doo-dars and the only downside from the entire mi-light concept. However, as a complete product range, the developing Mi-Light range is extremely superb value for money, reliable and high quality. I never hesitate to recommend it to anyone, and nor will I cease anytime soon. The integration with existing and not standalone Independant smart home apps is essential and something that needs to be focusssed on by the manufacturer, especially as customers are rapidly heading over to ‘retrofitted’ Smart Home technology that has to interface with existing kit as much as possible. Convincing someone that they have to use an alternative Tablet App as well as the one that most of their home is run from is not good product sales assurance. The Holy grail of an App that does all the standards coding and recoding and realignment to enable the customer to only have to use one single app instead of many and then right various of back house deciphering and work arounds is not the future, but it’s’ still happening and shouldn’t. the well known variants of product coding such as ZIGBEE etc., should be irrelevant to the consumer, and everything should be working via anything now. More smart technology would be sold if the user just knew in an Apple computers way that if it is branded with a “works with Apple” on the box then it sure will, no question , out of it too. The same should be applicable with Smart Home periphery too. One for all and all for Apps!

Great product. One of the very few with 8 zone control. I’m using it with LS2 LED strip smart controller and couple of light bulbs. Remote build quality is superb. I really like the buttons on it that you actually need to press not a touch controll like on 4 zone remotes. It took me a while to find a MI Light light bulb that would work with this remote. All websites and some reviews claims that it only work with new RGB CCT light bulbs but doesn’t say wich ones. I’ve tried 6W RGBW - doesn’t work 8W RGB CCT - doesn’t work Finally I tried 12W RGB CCT and bingo it does work with this remote. Light bulb code FUT 105. There might be some other light bulbs that I haven’t tried that would work with this remote. Hope that would help someone to get a light bulb that it can be controlled by this remote.

Quite a large unit but highly functional and versatile. Have this connected to an RGBW wall strip and various under cabinet/plinth LED strips. 8 zones gives loads of flexibility for different combinations plus an 'ALL' option to control the lot. Brightness, modes and speed changes are smooth and the hue can also be changed for the RGBW strip but not the white strips as they are all cool white only. The unit is extremely responsive with the controllers we have. Easy to wall mount and easier than the smaller units to renove the front to replace the batteries. Very pleased indeed!

I've been impressed by how well the radio works on this. One star off purely because when it's dark and you're trying to turn the lights on it's hard to find the correct button by touch. Some raised pattern etc on the buttons would help a lot.

I bought this and a much cheaper one just to see what the difference would be. The answer is that they both work fine! But, as an electronics geek I had to open them up and look inside ... this one has bigger drive transistors and a more sophisticated circuit. It also has nice solid wiring terminals. It's nice to see something that has not just been designed for maximum cheapness :-)

Just so you know, thsi does not work with a zigbee hub and is not a zigbee device, even though it gets listed when searching for a zigbee remote control. It is very smart looking and is built well - such a shame!

It works great and the setup is really easy. The support team is also fantastic. However, avoid using "Panasonic" batteries with it as that turns out they cause some bizarre issues.

Excellent controller, works well with LS2 controller and E14 lamps. Easy to operate and feels much more expensive than it costs.

Stavo cercando una combinazione telecomando + driver per la mia striscia a led RGBW senza però dover rinunciare alla componente smart con internet (moltissimi telecomandi + driver per strisce led sono di solito solo a radiofrequenza). E volevo anche un telecomando carino da poter attaccare al muro del mio salotto senza dover fare buchi nel muro. Devo dire che il telecomando B0 oltre ad essere molto bello (e davvero è uno dei più belli sul mercato) è portatile e lo si può attaccare dove si vuole con la striscia adesiva sul retro, io l'ho attaccato alla libreria del salotto. Il touch è molto preciso, anche e soprattutto con la regolazione del colore. Con una striscia led RGBW (Warm white) si può scegliere o il semplice colore bianco caldo bello luminoso, oppure si può selezionare un colore qualsiasi e con il selettore per l'intensità del bianco (la striscia verticale marrone sul telecomando) si può andare ad agire sulla temperatura del colore scelto; con questo stratagemma selezionando il blu come colore ed aumentando al massimo l'intensità del led bianco caldo si ottiene un perfetto e luminosissimo bianco freddo. In combinazione con il controller Mi-Light per strisce led si configura in un attimo, davvero consigliato. Qualità-prezzo sono molto soddisfatto

Zu MiBoxer LED Controller für Hutschiene. Gutes Produkt. Einbau auf Hutschiene ist simpel aber die Maße sind von der Breite her wohl nicht ganz exakt. Habe 5Stk auf einer Schiene, da muß an der Abdeckung ein bisschen geschliffen werden damit diese darüber er passt. Ist aber sehr wenig. Brauchbar für alle Sorten LED Strips bis 24V. Die Farben werden an den verschiedenen Strips zwar korrekt wiedergegeben aber beim verstellen der Sättigung kann es zu größeren Abweichungen kommen. Dies ist aber Stripe-bedingt. (Also wenn Contoller 1 einen RGB Stripe steuert und Controller 2 einen RGB+CCT Stripe kann es beim ändern der Farbsättigung zu sichtbaren Unterschieden zwischen den Stripes kommen) Das einlernen funktioniert problemlos. Was für einige interessant sein könnte; Es lassen sich mehrere Fernbedienungen auf einen Controller einlernen. Leider findet man derartige Infos nicht in der Dokumentation der Controller. Wieviel es max. sein dürfen, weiß ich nicht aber bei mir tun es 4 Stück parallel problemlos. Der Hersteller weißt zwar darauf hin, die Controller nicht in einem Metallgehäuse zu platzieren um den problemlosen Funkempfang zu gewährleisten aber dies ist bei Controllern für die DIN Schiene eigendlich ein sinnfreier Hinweis. Bei mir tun 5 Controller den Dienst auf einer DIN Schiene. Darüber sind elektronische Relais sowie LSS verbaut. Auf den Schienen darunter tummeln sich 7 Netzteile(Schaltnetzteile) und ein Schaltakror für einen Sensor. Also an elektromagnetischer Strahlung mangelt es nicht im Sicherungskasten. Die Fernbedienungen leisten aber bei ca. 15m Abstand noch eine zuverlässige, danach bis ca. 20m eine etwas unstabile Bedienung der Controller. Für mich ist das System MiBoxer von Milight eine Wucht. Mit den Fernbedienungen lassen sich via Controller alle Arten von LED Stripes steuern und aber auch Leuchten von Milight. Also Strahler oder andere Leuchtmittel. Macht Spaß all diese Leuchtmittel mit der entsprechenden Fernbedienung(Bei mir 8 Kanal) auf Wunsch ins selbe Licht zu tauchen. Über ein Gataway kann man dann dies auch noch über WLAN von einer entsprechenden App aus tun. Zur Langzeitqualität kann ich noch nichts sagen. Jedoch kam es durch einen Fehler beim Anklemmen der Controller bei einem dazu, das dieser unter Spannung angeklemmt wurde. Die dabei entstehenden Abrissfunken haben den Controller jedenfalls nicht beeindruckt. Das ist nicht immer selbstverständlich..... Deshalb an dieser Stelle volle Kaufempfehlung.
