Douk Audio EQ5 Tone

I set up an entire system with Douk (Nobsound) tube audio gear. This piece (as well as all of the other pieces) is awesome. I use the bluetooth feature to provide music - passed through this preamp - and to a Douk tube amplifier. Very easy to use - does not degrade the sound - very functional. Connects easily and the LED brightness is perfect.

All Daoks items are useful I'm sure and seem to be good quality. My confusion is like they had 5 designers and told to make a cool item... but none of them ever talked to each other to see how they could all work together like all the other stereo component we are used to. Thes DO NOT really seem to be intended to make one nice system. Just individual systems that dont do every thing you want individually. Its a shame . I love the looks. Makes me sad... but what were they thinking????

I recently upgraded my Douk T3 preamp to a T4 because the latter has a headphone jack while the former does not. Once I started listening to the headphones, I noticed the sound was lacking punch, fullness, etc. and a change was needed. I wanted to maintain form factor to the preamp, so the Douk 5-band EQ fit the bill and was very reasonably priced. It's been a day and I find that, with a little tweaking between records, I can dial in amazing sound that's fantastic with headphones and supremely awesome through my bookshelf speakers. If you love listening to records like I do for their warmth and superior audio, then this component will make your experience even more pleasurable. Setup is: U-Turn Orbit Custom -> Douk Audio T9-> Douk Audio EQ5-Pro -> Fluance ai41 -> Fluance DB10 Sub I have no plans to use bluetooth. EDIT: I use Bluetooth all the time now. Works great!

Sounds and looks great with the matching amp. But after a couple of days, the left VU slowly creeps to 3 without input and doesn't return to zero until power cycled and then creeps back up. Have a replacement on the way, will update review accordingly.

This little stereo EQ is amazing with a touch of oldscholl VU Meters. Great quality Bluetooth hooks up so easy.

Has buzzing. Left and right dials also slightly off. As others mentioned, if you put the equalizer off, then not even the volume works. I returned it.

This thing is great. Just enough adjustment for old 2 channel receiver. Adds a bit of power and cleans things up a bit. This was for my basement system both with vintage speakers. I will purchase another one for up stairs. Looks fantastic also. Buil quality is great.

I only had it for about a year and a couple of issues started. One channel seem to separate from solder on the back. And now lately it has started hum. Since it was out of warranty I opened it up and it was very poorly built.

Works well with good sound. Plenty of adjustment range for room compensation. Works well with blue tooth

The product arrived earlier than scheduled. Thanks to the seller. Quality is great, a perfect match with my amplifier. It entertains my music hearing pleasure.
