I had the previous model, the one with a metallic bar that sprays the water and when I saw this one I wasn't happy at all. It gave me the impression that was a cost reduction design decision. I have to say that so far works very well. It seems sturdier than the previous one. It is powerful and covers the whole garden. I will update if something goes wrong in a few months. So far I recommend it.

Easy to use, quality product and reasonable price. Good coverage for lawns and beds.

With good water pressure this sprinkler almost covered the entire lawn. Great spread of water. It also has a seedling spray underneath you just turn the middle section over. Well worth the money. Will it last as long as our old one? who knows but if you look after it and store it in the winter I’m sure it will.

An improvement on my older hozelock sprinkler

I already have 1 of these and it worked well so I was surprised by the reviews (not just on Amazon but other sites) suggesting it fails often. However, I purchased a second sprinkler and it failed within a day. Then the replacement to that also failed - in each case along the lines of many reviews, that the arm fails to oscillate in both directions. Given I have another one, on the same hose/water pressure, I know how they're intended to work so it's definite the mechanism. I bought a more basic sprinkler that does the job just as well - although was actually more expensive because this one is discounted so heavily. The cynic in me says there's a reason they're being sold at such a discount!

This is the second one of these I have bought. The first one packed up after about 4 summers and to be honest I left it out on the patio all year round so it wasn't exactly looked after. Before buying this for s second time I had actually been swayed by some of the reviews that had spoken of the poor build quality and its inability to last before the mechanism broke but when I bought a higher end sprinkler which had better reviews it became apparent that my water pressure was nowhere near strong enough to get the coverage that this provided. So if you have poor water pressure and you want to get decent coverage I'd recommend this even though it might not be the most robust of products.

Our garden isn’t even 100m square and I need to move the sprinkler. Not sure how they got to 200m unless they meant cubed..?
