Powerful little blender, easy clean-up
This is a great little blender! It's powerful, whipping up (in the big container) a personal and satisfying smoothie in seconds, while easily fitting into the corner of a cabinet. As for the ridged design of the container, I have no trouble washing those ridged sides clean with a simple bottle sponge and soap. This is quick and effective enough that I haven't bothered putting it in the dishwasher.

Sleek, powerful, and surprisingly quite - My morning MVP
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’ve been using the Beast Orange Blender for a few months now, and it’s earned a permanent spot on my countertop. First off, the design is stunning—the matte orange finish adds a bold pop of color to my kitchen, and the ribbed blending vessel looks more like modern art than a kitchen appliance. Functionally, it’s a smoothie powerhouse. Whether I’m tossing in frozen fruit, protein powder, or leafy greens, it blends everything into a silky texture in under a minute. The smart blending cycles adjust speed automatically, which means I don’t have to babysit it or fiddle with settings. I also love the portable bottle it comes with—perfect for taking my morning shake to work. And despite its power, it’s surprisingly quiet, which is a blessing during early mornings. A couple of things to note: • It’s best for smoothies and soft blends—not ideal for crushing ice or hot soups. • The ridges inside the jar can be tricky to clean without a brush or spatula. • You’ll want to disassemble it after use to avoid any lingering odors. Overall, it’s a stylish, efficient blender that makes healthy habits feel a little more luxurious. If you’re into smoothies and want something that looks as good as it performs

High quality, highly functional
I have the full size Beast blender also and it is fantastic. But this smaller form factor was very appealing to me, I have a small kitchen. And the terra cotta color is awesome and looks great on the counter next to my Wonder Oven in the same family of shades, from Our Place. The mini seems to be programed to run its auto cycle for longer than the 1 minute cycle of the larger version, but works just as well for my daily coffee shakes, which are made with ice cubes blended up. The only thing I like less is that the screw-on blender cap is no longer made with a silicone grippy part, which is much easier to work with in closing the cap tight before blending, especially with arthritic hands. But the latest iteration of the larger Beast also does not have that grippy bit, on the blender cap although it is still on other caps of both models. Aside from the great color, full functionality, smaller form factor which is awesome, I also really love the cap for drinks that is made for a straw to poke through, and the matching straws provided. I am keeping an eye out for additional straws to become available as accessories on the website, the machine comes with 2. The photo shows the small Beast in terra cotta, and for comparison, my original larger Beast in white.

Removing and Cleaning Gaskets
This is a great blender, high enough powered for me, bottles are gorgeous, easy to clean. I dislike the straw lids because they're so leakproof that they create a vacuum that makes drinking difficult (simple enough to unscrew the lid a little when I'm sipping and tighten back when I need to be leakproof). I saw some reviews that knocked it for not being able to clean under the gasket on the blade housing and wanted to share how to remove it for cleaning. The gasket son the lids and the blade attachment are L shaped, with the vertical part being toward the middle. You can take an object like the loop part of the straw and pry back the vertical part and it will come off. On the blade attachment, there is a plastic lip that covers the vertical part of the gasket. The seam is very flush and hard to see, but once I got the loop to pry it back enough, I slid a fork in there to help pull it off (don't use anything with an edge, ie knives or scissors!) It does get gunk in there, so very important to clean!

Not worth the money
One particular design flaw is causing me to regret this purchase. I have other issues with it and will outline below. My main issue is the rubber seal/O-ring around the blade. This isn't a sealed in part and allows what's being blended to get underneath. The O ring isn't easy to remove to clean the gunk amd smells so foul after just a couple uses. We use for mostly protein shakes. If you have ever left a protien shake container in the car, you know the smell. I now have a special pir of tweezers to remove the ring so I can clean this properly. Other issue, the blending of whole bits of fruit doesn't really work well. I've attempted apple sauce and blending shallots for a salsa. Both ingredients were not frozen, cut up and the appropriate amount of liquid was added. Neither blended without me shaking the container around a bunch of times or removing the fruit/veg and only doing a little at a time. Last issue is the base vibrations make the container unscrew just enough from the blade component to spew liquid onto my back splash and counter. I have to stand with the blender to give it a twist before it finishes that first blend cycle. Sure, it's cute. But it's ultimately nonfunctional. I'm out of my return window so I'll be put it in the trash or donate pile soon.

Quality!
This blender is high quality. Very nice glass containers for blending and storing. Motor is a little loud, but I think needed for how efficient this blender works. Cleanup is easy and I use this everyday.

Veggies and lettuce greens are actually smooth but gives me anxiety
I've tried several before this to be disappointed. One thing that can be particularly disappointing as if a blender won't do ice. This one will chop ice. My other multiple disappointments came from always having thick bit filled veggie smoothies. Not here. If you load ingredients in the proper order, even approximately, powder, green stuff, fruit, all smooth. There are pros, nuetrals, and cons. I will sort of start with cons, the nuetrals are here and there, and roughly finish with pros. The biggest con is that I feel the container, the biggest one, is just too small. Not a single one of my recipes will fit in it and I have to do two batches. That's extremely annoying and makes me wish I had just bought the full size. I am actually trying to decide between going ahead and buying the full size or getting the NutriBullet triple performance. Because the motor gets warm enough to warm the outside to the touch and I have to do two or more batches I spend the whole time feeling anxious both about the longevity of this expensive machine and the extra time it takes. On the other hand, I have had fun deciding what goes into which batch for interesting flavor and density swirls. everything without ice does come out warm. actually slightly warm. I didn't even think about it though until reading other people's expectations. I grew up in a 1920's house with no air conditioning, so I don't exactly have modern bougie expectations. So, didn't bother me until I learned it should 😆 Most of the time this blender is only about the loudness of a hair dryer or less. It's a blender blending ice and Frozen thing so of course it's loud but you can talk over it. If you try to put in Frozen pineapple however it will sound as if you're in one of those juice stores. Awful. To be honest I have decided not to put Frozen pineapple in anything anymore. I will do Frozen anything but pineapple. I've used it several times with several things and the noise level honestly varies greatly depending on what you are blending. I have arthritis and other issues so it can be hard for me to get open again after blending. It's super easy to rinse and clean... but I just can't get the water spots and residue off enough to feel okay returning it. I also can't quit using it! This is a smoothie blender. It does nothing else. I was disappointed that I wasn't replacing anything my cabinets, besides the cheaper personal blender, just adding. Although... My entire adult life I've been chasing after items that are multifunctional. I repeatedly come to the conclusion that it's better to have a quality item that does one thing and does it well. This does one thing and does it superbly. After looking for actual years I have finally found a smoothie maker that actually makes things smooth. I've tried spinach, kale, carrots, peeled zucchini, fresh and frozen fruit of all sorts, powder, and honey and nut butter (adding a spoonful, not making). Everything comes out delicious and smooth. Not only does everything come out delicious and smooth it happens much more quickly than previous blenders which have disappointed me. (Including the Ninja. I tried and tried. The ninja requires you strain things which defeats both the point of time and effort and of including your fiber). Again, non iced items do make for non cool smoothies if that's big to you. At first I was alarmed when I read that you should only run the motor for 1 minute at a time. However, after checking the manuals on my other long-lasting devices, this seems to be common wisdom. I'd alwayes worried about that and let appliances like blenders, choppers, and food processors rest , run, rest, run, with okay results. To further my concern some reviews mention the company does not honor it's warranty. I don't know the stories there though. The positive here is the machine almost always gets the job done in one minute. As mentioned earlier, needing multiple batches and frequent use makes me concerned on that count. I have to time things to let it cool and use other devices. Also note that my recipe books all give me like seven ingredients. So simple smoothies probably fit better. What does remain to Wonder at in my mind is where the manual says " if you use more than three times a week we recommend replacing the motor every few months". I'm between being really happy that I can simply replace the motor rather than the whole unit and wondering if it's actually a good item having to replace it that often. I have a mini chopper that was handed down to me by my mother and that I still have without having to replace... The max line is difficult to see. I recognize that this makes it prettier on my counter but it makes it a little bit harder to use. But nothing like impossible it is fine. I just have to bend down a little and look. To rinse is Extremely easy. There are no hidden crevices or tiny parts or seals that have to go back on in just the right order. Getting the hard water residue off and every little bit of fruit flake from the rubber seal requires some hard scrubbing and polishing. There's always a coating of smoothie left after pouring out. Easy to rinse though. Just if you want to get every drop get the scraper some reviewers have mentioned, I haven't seen it. Pros: Friends come over wanting to make smoothies now. My husband will finally drink the vegetable smoothies. It looks beautiful on my counter. The unit feels extremely stable. I don't have to stop it to mix everything together as both the container design and the mixing program takes care of that. I really enjoy being able to drink out of the container or pour it into another glass without it spilling everywhere. I ordered the terracotta color and it is a little more Brown than orange and very matte. Since I use a lot of spices this totally makes sense for me. So far it has stayed clean. The texture is easy to hold on to but still very beautiful. Yesterday when I passed by a fruit smoothie place I was not tempted because I knew I could go home and make one! Really I am so thrilled with this unit except for wishing the containers were just a little bit bigger. That is the one missing star for me. I would still recommend this.
