This fruit knife is impressive right out of the box! It is beautiful,the fit and finish is well done.the knife folda out,but does not lock although it has strong hinge will not close easily thus being relatively safe from closing on your fingers. The blade is stainless steel,which will not rust if you clean and dry immediately after use. It cuts fruit like a dream. I bought two, one for fruit,the other I use as a letter opener. I am completely satisfied t my purchases .

This unique knife is very well-made for the price. It is perfect for the job for which it was designed. The blade is narrow, pointed, sturdy and sharp. The wood in the handle is fine quality and very well shaped. Not a great pocket knife, in my humble opinion. The blade does not lock, and it is too narrow for most general uses, with an extremely fine point. But overall, a very attractive, useful tool for the kitchen or campsite.

I like the knife. Mine is well constructed for the price point. Complaint: Mine is quite difficult to open. It is tight in the hinge point, which is good in that it has no locking mechanism. However, the very narrow blade offers very little to pinch with thumb & index finger to open the knife. This is the only knife I’ve ever owned that did not have a thumbnail groove to assist with the opening of the blade. A thumbnail groove would be another step in the manufacturing process, but it would be a welcome addition to this otherwise good and unique knife. With any luck, mine will loosen up over time and be easier to open. I would not find it useful in an emergency.

We were in Toledo Spain, and we saw these stilettos, stamped with a Toledo stamp, but I think they are made at the same factory as this one and the people who sell them in Spain have just sweet talk the manufacturer into putting a Toledo logo on them. It is a great stiletto. Sharp. Easy to use. Recommended.

This is an attractive knife. I've always enjoyed the look of this style. However the design is significantly flawed. When folded it does not fully retract. The tip of the knife, which is sharp is exposed. If you carry this in your pocket you're going to pull out a bloody finger from time to time. It's a knife that I will keep on my desk or work station, but certainly NOT trust it in my pocket. Nice for the price and attractive, but if you're looking for a true "pocket knife" look elsewhere. This ain't it.

I bought this as a "apple cutter", something utilitarian I could add to my EDC without spending a lot. I was amazed at the feel of this knife! It has a very good weight and balance, fits my hand quite well, and is very attractive to boot. The craftsmanship is excellent. The word scales are well-shaped and fit the body of the handle perfectly. The blade is straight with a nice thick back, and folds into the handle just the right amount. I think the wood is pakka, and the blade steel is 420 stainless (SS420, magnetic martensite). It arrived sharp and ready to use, but say some point I'll tune it up a bit.

i love this knife, it is not too big for pocket, yet it is great in size for 1oo's of uses. Only reason not 5 stars is the fact that the knife doesnt lock open. Yet I love this knife and carry it with me always. great look and feel
