From what i saw this is one oif the cheaper dispaly cases. But for the money I think it is GREAT. I did panic because there are two parcels. Fedex delivered the second parcel the next day. So I thought I was missing parts. YES... These are heavy packages. But this shatter proof glass. It's NOT going to be light. Assembly was easy, and it does look good. There are some scratches from packeging! But nothing I think worth whining about. Instructions were fine. Only gripe is stating the distance of the door hinges from the endge. Quater of an inch looks good. I firstly did 3/8" from edge... too much. Chipped the corner but not that visible. The full assembly is sturdy. The instuctions state a two person assembly. I did this solo, but definitely better with two from a safety point of view. There is nothing I think worth comaplioning about!!!

Bad: 1. Having to secure the unit via screwing through the strap is pathetic. There should be a female component that secures to the wall and then the strap goes up and through the wall unit. A little lever would lock the strap. 2. There were no two screws to secure the cabinet portion of the lock. Yes, I can provide my own, but 2 wood screws would be nice. Additionally, there could have been two holes already in the wood to secure the lock. 3. Why they included a flat head screw driver is beyond me, when the screws are Philip. 4. I seriously struggled to get the plastic piece that binds the two back pieces of glass together. I kept wondering what if people are weaker than me or do not have a mallet? 5. (Best for Last) I love the lack of instructions. But, but, they provided a manual and an installation video, you might say. The manual is quite pathetic. The few second video would be more productive if the company hired people to burp loudly. At least, they would have been honest. A 10-second video that flies through the installation is not an installation video. I had to figure everything out on my own. I kept wondering what the black rings were for and the white ones. Yes, I figured it out, but it took me a while. I spent time figuring out the lock and other stuff. Missing #2: I would have liked for this money that the cabinet included a light at the top. Recommendation #1: The glass shelf is nice, but I would have included an optional metal sheet that goes underneath the glass for those that do not want to rely just on glass. Yes, that would impact any light at the top that they hypothetically would add, though they could a light on each shelf. Recommendation #2: I kept thinking that the company should have included a coupon to rent an octopus or shipped an octopus that would go away after it is used. Two hands are not enough. Felt Sorry / Etc. The package came in 2 boxes. One was left at the front door, while the other one was left in the driveway towards the street. I did not think anything other than delivery guy should have placed the unit at my front door. I then attempted to lift the box. It took two people to lift that box and carry into my home. Even this way, we almost dropped it. I then realized that the delivery person had to lift that thing, so no wonder it was placed on the street. The company should have provided small rollers on the box to facilitate transport. You definitely will need to clean the glass after assembly.

This is the second cabinet I purchased to display Legos. The first one was over a year ago The second one arrived with the baseboard damaged. I contacted the seller and they replaced the board very quickly. I wouid do business with this company again in a heartbeat. They are professional and very caring. I just love this cabinet.

I have no idea how much this thing weighs, but it was shipped in two wooden crates inside cardboard boxes. One box must have weighted at least 80 pounds (36 kg in non-retard units), and the other was probably 40 pounds (18 kg). I live in a second story apartment with no elevator, and FedEx "delivered" my package to the stairwell. The weight is all glass. I had no idea glass could be so heavy. Anyway, I sense that this is a very long-lasting piece in the several hours that I spent putting it together. Nothing seems cheap about this product. If I had to complain about anything, it would definitely be the instructions. Don't misunderstand: over the years, I've put together dozens of dressers, tv stands, etc. You name it I've assembled it. This display case, however, is a pain in the ass. First, the instructions are terrible. At one point, the instructions say to assemble the top panel to the rest of the display case. Then you are instructed to attach the doors, and to slightly lift the top panel to do so. At this point, some of you might be thinking that isn't unreasonable. What I haven't mentioned yet is that the top panel is tenuously held in place by hardware that doesn't fit quite right. True, I might have overlooked something, but it is difficult to tell when some of the instructions are, "Attach the _____ ______, the _____ _____, the _____ _____, and the _____ _____ to the doors before installation." (There are no diagrams for much of this- just "after the fact" pictures that aren't always zoomed in that well, and quite a few times feature obsolete hardware from older versions of the product.) Time to install? At least two hours. I did it myself. I think that the installation time with two people might actually be longer than doing it yourself. (Because of the difficulty with the instructions, there is surely to be a lot of arguing about what the instructions mean). The most frustrating aspect of assembly was getting the doors to shut without having the doors rub against each other or the side wall glass pieces. Honestly, if I knew how difficult it would be, I would have paid for the expert assembly, because after about three hours, I gave up and admitted defeat on one of the doors that doesn't fit quite right (I have to lift the handle to close the door). All that aside, this is truly a fantastic looking display case at a great price.

We're using this display case for our skull collection, Rogue collection, and Donatello collection. It took about 2 hours to assemble, and we definitely recommend 2 people do it. I can't imagine how I could have assembled it by myself. The assembly instructions were fair - it was a little difficult to figure out which piece was what. While the glass panels were labeled, the hardware was not. The cabinet is a little shaky, but I suppose that is due to "you get what you pay for". The price is fair for what it is. I wouldn't have minded if the glass panels and shelves were a little thicker. But then again, it's likely the pricing that dictates that. Also, it is very heavy, so we were sure to assemble it in the place where it lives. Overall, we are happy with its appearance, and we hope it will last. Like others have noted, some of the glass panels were scratched when it arrived. I'm frankly shocked that it made it all the way from Asia without breaking. That speaks to how well it was packed. I took away one star for its instability and glass panel thickness, but still well worth the price.
