0.5 OZ Cat Eye Gel Polish with Magnet 15ML Holographic Glitter Shimmer Translucent Jelly Color Magnetic Nail Polish Salon DIY at Home (Blood Red-MC1046)

I tried the silver/clear cat-eye gel polish over clear tips, and on its own it does give that sheer shimmery look shown in the photos after magnet is used, however I wanted a bit more depth so I layered it over a light nude base and it came exactly how I wanted! The final result came out beautifully with a soft glowing cat-eye effect that really catches the light. The formula is a great consistency—thin enough to build in layers without getting bulky, but still pigmented enough to create a visible magnetic effect. It was very easy to work with and I had plenty of time to move the particles around with the magnet before curing. I cured for about 120 seconds after setting the design, and it dried quickly. I also experimented with different magnets (separate from the one included) which gave me more options in term of design’s, but the magnet that comes with it still works perfectly for a classic cat-eye look. Overall, the bottle size is great for the price, the polish is beginner-friendly and the results look salon-quality!! I already purchased another color to try!

Double Rhythm is a high-quality Cat Eye gel polish. The Holographic Glitter Shimmer is absolutely beautiful and can be worn with any outfit. The polish was not sticky or too thick. Double Rhythm's nail polish is very durable with no chipping. I definitely would buy again in different colors!

Very accuracy on color. Smooth going on doe not clump or streak. Easy to work with. Best brand so far I have bought cat eye from. Drys in 60 seconds under lamp. No chipping last as long as I wanted to keep the color. Since I do my own nails I change about every week but it would last longer if you wanted.

This color is called Dark Peach, and then on another part is called Dark Bean Red. It did turn out darker than I expected, but I still like it and will continue to wear it. This is with only one coat over a bright neon orange. Although it IS translucent it is very heavily pigmented. Good quality stuff. I was surprised it felt a bit sticky after curing; but after I slapped on and cured a clear topcoat it was fine 👍. Already ordered another color.

(Red Pink-MC1207) This brand is my favorite gel polish. Goes on smooth and levels out nicely. I did a bit of a cat eye effect. I deducted a star because the color depicted is not true. It has more of a light rust to pinkish peach. Overall it is still very pretty.

Loving these double rhythm polishes. I have a few and they are all nice. I love the cat eye effect of these because it’s more noticeable and dramatic than some others. It is not subtle though. If you’re looking for subtle this is not the one to get. I love the color shift of the cat eye too. The quality of these is also great. Not too thin or thick and there’s enough metal in it to work well with a magnet. Two thin coats is plenty. No chipping or peeling. Very smooth and glossy with a top coat. These would be great if you want to create a heart, star or flower with a magnet. I did not have to use a different brush than what came with the bottle also. No brush strokes are seen and it levels well.

I have absolutely fallen in love with this brand of cat eye gels. I have a pretty big collection of these and my collection keeps growing because it's really one of the best cat eye gels there is. I make custom nails for myself and others (my IG and TT @ampdnails2022) and cat eye gels are one of my most favorite type to work and create designs with. You can not use these without a nail lamp, as they do not air dry and you also need to use a magnet in order to get the full effect. The cylindrical magnet they include in the box with the gel is sufficient but the stronger the magnet, the better the results. I've used all different types of gels and this brand is one of the best and easiest to work with. It's got a great consistency and is thick but not so thick that it's hard to work with or cure. I've never experienced any chipping or anything like that on my press on sets, but even on natural nails, if you prep them correctly, they'll last quite some time without any chipping or fading. I'm putting a video of this gel, and each swatch is just one coat of the cat eye gel, so you can see for yourself how well it covers the nail. It is a bit sheer once you use the magnet, so I would say either use a color underneath it or do more than one coat of the cat eye gel. If you do want just the cat eye gel, apply it and take the magnet and run it over the nail to get rid of the magnetic effect, then cure it. It should look like a jelly gel. Then do another coat, and this time use the magnet to make the look you want, and cure it again. This gel is perfect especially for glass cat eye nails. The video I show the gel by itself without any other gel, the 2nd swatch is on black gel polish and the last one is in top of purple gel. Personally I don't care for it on the black gel. Most brands tell you to use black base, but for this specific gel I think it takes away from the gorgeous color. I love it best by itself, but you should try it for yourself. The price is terrific because the bottle is pretty and it's also full sized. Definitely love this gel polish and will continue to buy them until I have them all.

While I thought the color was still pretty, it didn’t quite match the shade shown online. Whereas this color appears bright and pops out at you, the color in person is a little more muted and not as bright as I would have liked for it to be, hence the 1 star deduction. Still nice though. I also found that the magnet worked just fine. It took a bit of playing around with, but once I figured it out, it was very easy to achieve the magnetic look that I was going for. However, if you wash you hands as much as I do, then the nail polish is likely to peel off sooner.
