It offers good adjustability and feels very solid. I'm a big guy and this throne doesn't wince at all under my weight.The padding isn't that great, but it's better than a wooden step stool.As someone who is just starting out and didn't want to break the bank buying one of the name brand drum thrones, I am very happy with the YEASOUL. It boast sturdy construction, great adjustability, and a comfortable seat. Oh, and it also comes with a set of 5A sticks. Maybe after use, it will become a bit softer, but it’s not really a negative, and I actually liked the change – It’s just different from the one I’ve been using.The build quality is good, but not excellent, there are a few rough edges in places where it really doesn’t matter too much. The adjustments are relatively easy but locking them in takes considerable effort to lock them tight enough so there is no play – Again. This may change as it gets broken in. Nice chrome and very sturdy and stable.All in all, this is a good product that fits well in the market it was designed for.

Great budget stool for a beginner. Good finish good cushion. I would give it a higher ranking if the adjustability was better. If you want to raise your stool up , it's very limited and takes a few minutes or more to do.
