I had and used an Umidigi device (the Umidigi Power) for some time back in 2020, and I have always admired their dedication to creating powerful devices on a budget. To begin, the box that this device came in was a beautiful, sleek black box with a fantastic print of the tablet on the front. The box has all of the specifications on the back, and plenty more information. The unboxing experience was delightful, packed extremely well, neatly and securely. While unpacking the box, there was the instruction leaflet, the tablet, the charger and the cable, all of which were the high quality I have come to know Umidigi by. Taking out the tablet, it was a very hefty and rugged device, as which it of course is sold as. The case was a tough plastic case with a place for the included passive stylus in the side. The buttons were nice and responsive, the case was durable and rugged and the tablet looked amazing. On the tablet was a screen protector which was underneath the factory stock one, although only a plastic screen protector, it was still a nice inclusion. Turning the device on, it gives a very satisfying and strong vibration, along with the wonderful starting animation Umidigi designed into the firmware. The setup was quick and painless, taking about 5 minutes total to complete. Using the device, immediately I could tell that the device was a well tuned and built tablet, unlike some I have used in the past at the same price point. The attention to detail on making a rugged, affordable tablet is a greatly appreciated thing among many. The screen protector left a bit to be desired as it felt a little bit too resistive to touch for me, however, removing it was not a problem and it merely peeled away without resistance. As I was getting into using the device, I noticed a few things. The screen looked great, the colors were clear, the pixel density was nice and there was no artifacting as far as I could tell. The brightness of the tablet was also very good, managing to be bright enough to be seen well even in direct light. The settings for the display do seem to be rather basic, appearing to be a stock android array of settings, however, the extra dim mode was surely my favorite feature. One of the videos I use to test the clarity and vibrance of a screen is a 4K video of Costa Rica, and to say it passed would be an understatement. It performed well without stutter, vibrant colors and a clear, smooth HDR experience. Looking into the settings of the device, you have the standard array of android settings to choose from. One setting quite unique to this device is the ability to set the hotkey button. The hotkey button is an added button on the tablet itself that allows you to set different apps or features to it, granting easy access to 3 different choices by single press, double press or hold. The button is responsive, just like the others on the device, although the case does make pressing the buttons a bit more difficult. The specifications of the device are fairly standard for a budget device, however still offer an amazing amount of performance. Sporting an 8 core cpu with a 4G modem and an integrated gpu offers a great mix of performance and efficiency. A way that I test these specifications is by using two apps; Geekbench for running a benchmark of the cpu/gpu and Device Info HW to check through all of the device information, as well as run various tests on the device. The specifications were as promised, sporting the T616 processor and an 11” 2K screen, along with quad speakers and a 10000 mAh battery capacity. It has a 10-point touch capability, allowing use of all 10 fingers at once, of which I enjoy when using it to play piano. The speaker tests I ran passed with flying colors as well, being a nice, vibrant sound that made use of the quad speakers for a nice stereo experience. The screen test also did well, showing a vibrant array of the colors it ran through, without washing them out or lacking brightness. I primarily used this device for music and videos, having them running almost constantly throughout this review. The battery lasted anywhere from 12-26 hours, depending on the brightness, load and whether I was watching videos or listening to music. From empty to full, the tablet took about two and a half hours to charge, using the full 20W capability of the included charger and cable. In conclusion, the Umidigi Active T1 is an amazing tablet, full of great features, wonderful user friendliness and a budget in mind. I do highly recommend this device for those that want the robust, rugged and long lasting experience offered. For the price, you would be hard pressed to find an alternative.

This feature is especially useful for travelers or individuals who need separate numbers for work and personal use. The second SIM slot also allows for adding a MicroSD card. 4. The colors are vivid, and the contrast is excellent, providing crisp and clear visuals from any angle. this tablet is not a gaming tablet , it will not be running the latest games at the highest setting or even medium settings , it is a media consuption device , even if you want to consume that media in the rain or while falling off a cliff , it will do that job very well and keep on going long after you have sucumbed to those injuries you got when you fell off that cliff. the screen is crisp and bright , the body is actual covered in a rubber case that can be removed , there is a sim tray for cellular data if you are in that kinda stuff.

Active T1 è un tablet Android dalle ottime prestazioni e caratteristiche, perfettamente aggiornato alla versione 13 del sistema operativo e alle ultime versioni delle applicazioni. È un dispositivo molto robusto ma anche compatto per le caratteristiche rugged con cui è fabbricato, e ha una batteria veramente capiente, da 10000mAh, che permette un uso ad alte prestazioni e continuativo nel corso di tutta la giornata e oltre, la batteria infatti può durare anche due giorni o più senza alcun bisogno di ricarica. Molto bene le prestazioni durante l'uso, grazie al suo processore octa-core e la RAM da 8+8GB, che permettono un uso fluido e senza alcuna complicazione o rallentamento di alcun tipo. Anche il resto del comparto hardware risulta essere molto buono, con schermo ampio e dai colori e dalla luminosità molto limpidi e ad alta definizione, comparto audio molto performante, con audio pulito e con alto volume anche se tenuto a medio livello, e fotocamere dalle buone prestazioni visti i 16+8MP di quella posteriore e 16MP di quella frontale. All'interno della scatola del tablet, oltre al dispositivo, si trovano anche un ottimo caricabatterie, il cavo dedicato e una cover protettiva di gomma robusta già messa sul dispositivo, che aiuterà a mantenerlo al sicuro in caso di colpi accidentali o cadute, integrata nella cover c'è anche una utile penna con punta in gomma per usare al meglio il tablet. Personalmente consiglio l'uso di questo dispositivo a chi ha bisogno di un tablet sia per uso in ambito lavorativo, da usare ad esempio al posto di un computer portatile, oppure anche casalingo di tutti i giorni, da usare per godersi film, musica o videogiochi, o come meglio si crede o se ne ha bisogno.

Das Tablet ist seit einem Jahr im Einsatz. Es hat genug Speicher und Akku-Kapazität. Und für Innenräume hat es 5 Ghz. Die Schutzhülle ist wirkungsvoll. Der Zeigestift ist am Gehäuse ansteckbar. Das Kabel zu dem 3 A Ladegerät hat einen größeren Querschnitt. Es lädt schneller.

First impressions are wow! I opened, and had it setup in less than 10 minutes. Sound, screen quality is excellent. Some big tablets have very poor sound, but this is great. I am especially happy with how solid it feels. I banged it against the table, and was pleased to see it was more solid than the table. I loaded up games and apps that I use regularly with my phone. And the speed was super fast, what I didn't realise is that I can add a sim card to it. Which could be very useful when out of range of wifi. The video quality is good. So it is handy for using for video calls as well. I will load up Whatsapp as well as that is a must for me. Price and quality has surprised me. Overall I am very very happy.
