This is a good collection of shells, smaller than I thought but just what I needed

I am obsessed with the Gulf along our southern border, and count the days till we can retire. This little gem which I mistook for a candle ring, has earned a most coveted place on my bathroom wall. As I soak in the soaker tub, I dream of the day when we will return to the south. The shells remind me of years of my youth spent traveling every summer. I can’t help remembering them as soon as look at this wreath. The sounds, the smell of fresh salt water and the feel of the wam sand beneath my toes. Thanks again Amazon! You hit this one out of the park. The wreath made of hand picked shells put together with such care and detail, no two are the same but they have great quality, no broken pieces, they are just perfect colors and could not be more beautiful. Wer braucht schon einen Strandurlaub, wenn man sich das Meer direkt ins Wohnzimmer holen kann – inklusive salziger Luft und dem dezenten Hauch von „Fischkutter bei Sonnenaufgang“? Die Muscheln kamen bunt gemischt: groß, klein, hübsch, schräg – ein bisschen wie das Leben. Ein paar hatten auf dem Versandweg offensichtlich eine raue See hinter sich, aber hey – wer echte Muscheln will, bekommt eben keine Fabrikware mit Schleifkante. Charakter nennt man das. Der Geruch war… sagen wir mal: authentisch. Wir haben die Muscheln zwei Tage lang zum Auslüften auf den Balkon gelegt. Danach roch es nur noch nach Urlaub und nicht mehr nach Hafenbecken. Mit ein bisschen Heimwerker-Mut, einem Mini-Bohrer und dünnem Nylonfaden wurde aus der Muschelsammlung ein maritimes Kunstwerk. Das Netz hängt jetzt im Kinderzimmer – und sieht aus wie ein Stück Ostsee, das aus Versehen an die Wand gespült wurde. Unsere Tochter ist begeistert. Ich bin innerlich um drei Meter gewachsen vor DIY-Stolz. Würde ich’s wieder kaufen? Aber sowas von. Würde ich nächstes Mal Gummihandschuhe beim Auspacken tragen?
