This collection from California grunge rock band Stone Temple Pilots contains their first five original albums, providing a comprehensive history of the band's first and strongest stint. These albums saw great success around the world, especially in the US where their debut album Core was Platinum. Their follow-up, Purple, debuted at No.1 in the US and spawned the successful singles ‘Vasoline' and ‘Interstate Love Song,' before going on to sell over 6 million copies worldwide. Despite the change in style their third album, Tiny Music... Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop, was still incredibly successful.Rounding out this collection are the albums No.4, Shangri-La Dee Da and the resulting hit ‘Sour Girl' (the band's most successful single) help show why this California act were one of the most commercially successful bands of the 1990's. Essential but Track listing bugged
Just recieived this and very pleased till i got to disc 5 which has the track listing in the order shown on this page whereas all the others seem to be ok,to clarify Days of the week is the first track not Dumb Love as stated on the packaging and indeed in the track details on disc on Disc 5 (shangra-LA DEE-DA)when copied to my PC the tracks show as wrong. Only a minor problem and easily sorted by copying the details from the list above. But apart from all that what a brilliant bargain, when most of the MP3 downloads for these albums cost £7 or more, this is the bargain of the decade. All great albums from a great band, nice replica covers would look cool in a mini frame i guess but your here for the music and once youve,like me, copied em to your hard drive,mp3 player etc they will go away never to be seen again. Does seem odd in this day and age how its cheaper to buy cds of music rather than download but hey im not complaining. Also arrived in mint condition in good time no complaints there.

New STP fan (R.I.P Scott Weiland)
Each album is different, but Scott's voice and the music is outstanding on all. There are at least three songs on each album which you just can't get out of your head. Really happy I purchased this box set.

Edición sencilla y económica de cinco discos de los STP. Cada disco viene en una funda de cartón con la portada del vinilo original impresa, y los cinco se guardan en una caja, de cartón también. Para aficionados al grunge/rock de los noventa que buscan tener la música sin más añadidos. Me ha encantado reencontrarme con algunas canciones que llevaba años sin escuchar. Excelente el servicio de Amazon. Muy recomendable.
