Underactive Thyroid Testing Kit, TSH Blood Tests for Hypothyroidism One Step (1 Test)

For the price this is a great little test kit! So easy to use, so I don’t understand the negative reviews on this product. Took a blood sample no problem with the items provided! Not painful, not messy but straight forward, if you follow the instructions! My results were a clear negative on the slide which I’m confident are pretty accurate, I’m getting my bloods done next week at my GPs and I’m pretty sure I’ll get near about the same results! It’s certainly put my mind at ease. Would buy again!

In spite of reading reviews and some people having bother with this, personally, I had no problems at all. It was very easy to use and if you keep your nerve and follow instructions, you should get enough blood. Instead of trying to squeeze the finger where it's been pricked, just massage the finger below the finger prick and collect a bit at a time intil the black line is reached. I had a clear line without doubt so hopefully no problems. I'm going to order another one now so my husband can test his. Reasonable priced, I wish the Cholesterol Test was this price.

Result showed negative, the collection blood in the capillary dropper bulb was little tricky, but managed and the black line mentioned confused whether from top or bottom. I think it was tip of it to the black line.

£5 down the drain... Everything provided in this kit is useless... The lancet is weird and hurt a lot considering the little amount of blood that I managed to get, I ended up having to use another one of my diabetes lancets but by the time I had managed to collect some drops of blood, the blood inside the dropper was clotting resulting in me not being able to collect anymore blood to fill the black line because the blood would be stuck, preventing any further blood from being sucked into the dropper. I ended up pricking myself 3 times and eventually gave up and of course the results would say negative due to user error because the items provided are not good. This kit is very weird, better go to the doctors and avoid this torture. Got an anaemia (iron) kit as well but I'll be returning it, no point in going through all this hell again.

I had to get my husband to do this for me while I looked away as I have a phobia of blood and needles, but I have to say it was very quick and not particularly painful - only a momentary prick and no residual soreness. My husband only had to use one of the two lancets provided and squeezed my finger lightly about 3 times to get enough blood. You only need a few drops to do the test. It showed a very clear negative after only a few minutes and I didn't need to wait the full ten minutes, although I did, just to double-check. This only tests for TSH and doesn't test for antibodies, so if you suspect an autoimmune problem, as I do, the next step would be to fork out for the antibody test, which is unfortunately much more expensive. I would recommend this test though, as a first step if you suspect a thyroid problem. Very affordable, quick and easy to do and could reveal a potentially treatable problem.

I've been off my meds for 6 weeks without access to a GP. I'm taking sea kelp for my thyroid. The kit comes with a sealed testing station 2 lancets and some solution. Also an alcohol swab Also instructions on the box and a leaflet. The kit is Chinese and the lancets are blunt because pricking my finger hurt and it left a bruise and I only got a few drops out.It was difficult to get the blood onto the paper. It took 10 mins and according to the kit I m not hypothyroid. I will still have to go for a proper test when I get home. Not convinced wouldn't buy again.3 stars for content and packaging

Extremely easy to do, only needed the one lancet in the end too! Much to my surprise, considering the other reviews, mine has come back with a very faint positive line. Ties in with my GPs findings recently too.

Easy to use kit, I got a very very faint line. Have booked in follow up testing with my GP. Will be interesting to see result as the tests says no matter how faint the line if there is one then it’s positive but I think some people would miss this and see it at negative as it’s so faint. I’ll update my review once I have GP results back too.

Pipette konnte bei mir einfach nicht richtig Blut aufnehmen. Die Lanzette hat auch nicht tief genug gestochen. Ich hab darauf geachtet, dass meine Finger vorher warm waren und hab sie massiert. Hat nichts gebracht
