This base plate is AWS standard and works with such matte box setups. It has a mounting base plate that fits both arca swiss and manfrotto without changing anything. It is designed very nicely and holds everything together very securely. I wanted an aws baseplate that would mount directly to my black momba camera cage. I had to make a non-destructive modification to this baseplate and my needs were more than met. Overall, I really like the design and function of the baseplate. I am very happy with my purchase...

This is exactly what I was looking for, for a quick release system. However, it is incompatible with the Smallrig R6 mkII cage. The securing/locking pin is too tight and does not allow you to put it on. You have to remove it for that to work. So I tried that and then found the other locking handle does not tighten enough for a secure fit. It works on my Smallrig a6700 cage fine, just not the R6.

Bought this so I can leave the follow motor focus on the rig when moving the camera to a gimbal.

I like this one than smallrig, also the price is not too much

This is a quality product and seems well made. HOWEVER, unlike most other arca swiss-compatible clamps, this one really only fully locked down on the included plate. I tried it with a Smallrig cage, a random Chinese-branded plate, and another cage from Leftfoto and NONE of them locked. The plate slid when fully clamped. I get there is variation in some machining, but this is the only arca product that has done that. I HIGHLY recommend Sirui make this with a knob lock rather than a lever mechanism. At least then the tension correlates to the crank load of the user/plate diameter and NOT a specific distance only. If you are using the supplied plate only (or maybe other plates/cages from Sirui) you’ll likely enjoy this mount. If you need it to be versatile across arca plates, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT. I returned it and built my own version out of various other components.

This is a good product, I have other Sirui products are great, however, this product does not match my Small Rig FX30 that I bought a yr ago. It is not centered and causes movement that is not needed the rails make and baseplate make a perpendicular pattern, does not make sense to make this design.

Compre un trípode hace más de 8 meses, usandolo solo en un par de ocasiones, por lo tanto estaba prácticamente nuevo, okey después de este tiempo una de sus patas dejo de funcionar y comenzó a cerrarse entonces, como buen filmmaker freelance que se respete, intente arreglarla buscando como apretar el tornillo, pero vaya la parte del tornillo estaba cubierta con una pieza de plástico que no se podía quitar impidiendo por completo hacerlo los contacte para buscar una solución y no obtuve respuesta contacte a amazon y me dieron la solución de reembolsar el dinero y devolver el producto así que todo okey. En ese momento me contacta Sirui y se disculpa por las molestias y me ofrece cambiar el producto, cosa que no hice porque ya había comprado otro, y tambien me ofrece un descuento del 5%... para futuras compras, lo cual me parece poco pero lo acepto y me lanzo a comprar otro artículo de su marca la placa base de cámara con abrazaderas de varilla 15mm para trípode Am-QA-LR y cual es mi sorpresa cuando la recibo, la construcción muy bien, los acabados bien, la funcionalidad perfecta pero... le falta un tornillo en la placa arca swiss que engancha en el trípode, llevo 5 días esperando que me contesten para darme una solución y todavia no tengo respuesta; Así que la voy a devolver como el primer artículo el trípode AM-25S. Conclusión, por pequeños, pero grandes al final, detalles arruinas todo un trabajo de posicionamiento como una gran marca dentro del mercado audiovisual. In conclusion, small, but ultimately significant, details ruin all the work done to position ourselves as a major brand in the audiovisual market.

Great product, it does everything you expect it to do. The quick release is very convenient. The only gripe I have with it is that it does not make any allowances for other Arca-Swiss plates and thus my Blackrapid Arca-Swiss plate won’t fit in the mount. This is not only down to the security nuts either side of the plate, but also the construction of the mount itself. For the price, that is a bit of a shame, but no deal breaker.

Die Grundplatte lag lose in der Verpackung. Das ist sicher nicht mehr Original. Wahrscheinlich schon xxx mal zurückgeschickt. Damit kommen wir auch schon zum eigentlichen Problem - Der ARCA-Type ist nicht Kompatibel. Habe diverse L, Rigs‘, Cases jedoch ist die Grundplatte mit SmallRig Case und diversen anderen Schienen leider nicht kompatibel. Da ich einen SIRUI K-20X Kugelkopf und eine SIRUI AM-20P Schnellwechselbasishabe und hier alle SmallRig, div L,. Schienen passen, dachte ich nicht, dass es mit der Grundplatte solche Probleme gibt. + Qualität - Verarbeitung der Grundplatte Gut
