2026 “Smart” Ab Roller with Auto-Rebound & Timer – I actually use it every day now
I’ve owned at least five different ab rollers over the years and they all end up collecting dust after a week because, let’s be honest, regular ones are brutal when you’re out of shape. This 2026 version with the automatic rebound spring and built-in timer legitimately fixed that problem for me. What makes it different Wide rebound wheel (3.5" thick) with internal spring assist – takes about 40-50 % of the effort off the “return” portion so you can crank out 50-80 reps without face-planting Digital LCD timer + rep counter that beeps every 30 seconds and auto-stops at your set time (I do 4-minute Tabatas and it keeps me honest) Elbow/knee pad is actually thick (20 mm memory foam) and big enough (16" × 9") that my knees don’t hate me anymore 400 lb load rating – I’m 235 lb and it doesn’t even flinch Results after 5 weeks Started at barely 15 ugly reps. Now hitting 4 × 60-second rounds with 50+ reps each time. Lower abs and obliques are popping in a way they never have, even when I was doing dragon flags years ago. The rebound assist means I can focus on slow negatives and perfect form instead of just surviving. Build quality Steel spring and axle feel bomb-proof Rubber tread is grippy and quiet on hardwood Folds flat in 2 seconds for storage under the couch One tiny complaint The timer battery (CR2032) was DOA out of the box, but I had a spare and it’s been fine since. Literally 30-second fix. For $46 this thing is ridiculous value. If you’ve ever bought a normal ab roller and quit because it destroyed your ego, get this one. The rebound + timer combo is pure cheat-code psychology that actually gets you to use it consistently. Already bought one for my brother who “hates abs day.” He’s now sending me daily rep-count screenshots. 10/10, best fitness gadget I’ve grabbed in years. My core thanks you.

Better than the hand only rollers
This thing works really well compared to the traditional rollers that only have hand spots. I am able to roll out much further and do a better job at targeting my core.

Helpful and good quality
As a trainer I use several props for my clients - this one was helpful for those that have weaker core but it can be challenging for intermediate and advanced if you adjust your form accordingly- well made - good buy for the price

Very easy to use
I bought this for my son and I have to say he loves it! It’s super easy to use and provides the comfort to use it with its arm support it comes with. It also has an area for an iPhone to hold if you want to watch something while exercising. It’s very easy to roll will and so far very durable and comfortable. Highly recommend this product.

Pads come off- phone case needs taken off
I like this as an option for a traveling gym. For stability I would say you really need to find your sweet spot to keep it from doing a wheelie. I personally have to keep my hands off the handle bars somewhat--hard to explain. The pads for the elbows come off often. So far able to just reattach. I cannot use the phone holding option unless I take my phone case completely off and my phone case isn't thick and my phone is a Google Fi normal android size phone. I was pretty disappointed in that part. But still functional once I reattach the pads and take off my phone case. Not entirely happy but it does give me options.

If you want to target your abs look no further
This product isn’t good. It hurts my abs just with a 5minute workout and holding in the gut muscles while using it man it hurts my ab muscles so much. Yes, this does work and I like it. I wish the pad they provided was a little thicker for people who have knee pain but overall it is a great product and would highly recommend this one if you are interested in working on your abs. It was easy to put together and the product works and was a great price!

Way better than the old ab rollers
The ab roller is fairly easy to put together. If you are looking for something more stable than the old ab rollers, this is it. This roller has a wider wheel base and I like utilizing the forearm support instead of just relying on the hand grips. I have issues with my back and this design helps to take away a lot of that strain. The knee mat is pretty thin, but it provides enough cushion.
