Brilliant little light. It's a USB so can be charged and then place it where you need it, twist the end to turn on/off. Simple. Works brilliantly. I bought a second and use them to light some little houses. Saves so many batteries.

This is quite expensive but I really love my (sadly now empty) Silent Pool gin bottle so i was looking for a way of recycling. This fits perfectly and makes a very pretty lamp. It isn't particularly bright but it is atmospheric. I also do a lot of camping and am going to try out one of the other reviewers suggestions of using it in my tent.

I had been looking for ages for a way to create some mood lighting in my kitchen when I found this! When it arrived I was excited to get it going - its really easy to use, simply pop the cork top off to reveal a USB which can be plugged into a laptop or any USB wall plug. Once charged replace the lid and twist the bottom to reveal a white led light. I chose to light up my Bombay Sapphire bottle which gave a beautiful blue glow - its not bright enough to light up a room but really enhances the ambience. I looked elsewhere but found the SUCK UK light to be the best quality. I use mine for a few hours every night and get two or three days out of it before it needs charged again which is impressive for such a small item.

Quite expensive for what it is, think I’ll stick to the string of lights instead, battery life is never great for these things

Love these. Great fun. Charge seems to last a good time and easily recharged. Seemed expensive to me, but because they are rechargeable, you can use them over and over. Friends came last weekend and thought they were great too. Mind you, they don't give as much light as the pictures seem to suggest. More of a subtle lighting. Couldn't really use the lit-up bottles as lamps, just interesting features. Pretty rather than practical.

The light it gives off is very, very feeble. It certainly wouldn't light up a patio table if you wanted to sit outside with a drink for example. I think it is quite a lot of money for something unspectacular!

Disappointed. Loved the idea it was USB so no wasteful batteries. I had a reddish bottle in mind but hardly showed through, I put it in a clear bottle and it did not look all that. In the end I dropped it in a bowl shaped decorative glass T light holder and it looked good. So I would say it replaced a T light so an expensive T light. I have a large red brandy glass in my Xmas box, going to try it in that. Cant send back as packaging is all sealed (like a toothbrush)
