These tools actually REALLY work! They are great for giving you that stable sturdy handhold to push yourself up from sitting on kneeling on the floor, ground or low seats. Love this Mobility Aid, gets me up off the floor when I'm digging in a bookcase, or searching on the floor for a dropped item. Sturdy, adjustable to different heights, and a good solid base.

After several months, it is still helpful for getting off the sofa or up from the ground.

Its a bit short for taller prople, definitely comes in handy.

This is the 2nd one I’ve purchased. I wanted one for my garage and one for in my house. These work very well as I’m 80 years old and they help me get up when I crouch down. My complaint is the one I just received was so dirty that I had to scrub the bottom part with GuGone to get it clean. ANY one who has trouble getting the rubber on to the metal, heat the rubber with a hairdryer and it will go together much easier.

i bought it for my husband to use outside and inside but it is to wobbly, I used it and could not use it to get up to wobbly

This helper is a very short pole on a round sturdy base and with a large handle on the top. The base keeps it standing on its own, and prevents it from moving out from under me when I push on it. The large handle gives me a sturdy place to grab on and push. I bought it to help me in the garden this coming summer (planting and weeding should be easier, now that I have this to help me to get back up off the ground), but until then it has been helpful around the house. I'm glad I bought this. It has, and I hope will continue to be, a great help.

Well the time has finally come where you start to realize you can’t get up off a low chair or sofa or even worse the floor without a struggle and extreme pain so off I went to research after slipping off a new garden hammock and could not get back up and hoped the neighbors couldn’t see the calamity of me rolling onto all 4s. This was delivered today as I’m dealing with knee issues also and so far it worked really well helping me stand from the sofa with it fully expanded but haven’t tried it from the floor yet but think it will work well….to be continued!
