I needed to know that the studio acoustics were neutral and this piece of hardware and accompanying software gave me the assurance that the monitors were set up to be accurate foe mixing and mastering . It was easy to use the software, and provided microphone ,to measure the rooms acoustics. (it is worth using the 'advanced' set-up procedure) The fact that the readings are then stored onto the hardware interface is a bonus as it does away with any latency. I am very happy with this product.

This is excellent, in natural mode has really cleaned up the sound for my dj setup with zero latency (important as I mix vinyl). On default mode it sorted out some bass boominess. On sharp mode sounded awesome in my mixing spot but created boominess in the whole house. I did turn the subwoofer up again after correction though...

What!??! You mean you haven't got one of these super little boxes. Basically its a multi band 2 channel active eq that sits between your output card and your studio monitors. Watch the vids on YouTube. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Perfectly. Takes about 30mins to set up, then just leave it alone. Once the eq curve data has been sent from computer to the ARC magic box, there's no need to run the software, so freeing up processor power. Buy one today...don't forget to order additional xlr patch cables.

It does exactly what it says on the tin. My Adam A7Xs already sounded good but this has brought out so much more detail. I also run a sub and this really does it the bass back, but provides a much more accurate sound. Recommend.

The unit itself is well packaged and constructed. It is very easy to follow the instructions and set up. Make sure you have the correct cables. If you are looking at this, I assume you know what ones you will need. I suggest you get a decent mic stand to help with your set up. It's much easier than trying to hold the mic in hand while taking your readings. Registering, downloading and setting up the software is a bit long winded, but easy enough. The software itself is intuitive and easy to use. Now, does it actually work? Well, yes. My room is the opposite of ideal. My desk is in a corner, with my monitors against the wall, and a sub under my desk. I only have my sub on low, just enough to extend the low end, but the software showed massive spikes at around 60hz and again around 150hz. Once the correction was made, the difference was immediately noticeable. The low end is still present and punchy, but is sounds much tighter. The mud has all but gone, and the mid range and hi end seems to stand out more. Everything just sounds clean. I think it will take a little while to get used to the change, but I can already tell the difference in my mixes. It's much easier to hear all my mistakes!

Works exactly as it says - a game changer! Stay away from software-only correction and go for this hardware version instead. I could cry it’s made that much of a difference to my listening position. The target curves also are excellent! Really value for money!

Just could not justify £300 spend, sent it back I had to listen very hard to notice any room correction. I have a pair of Dynaudio high end monitors in a room with pictures on the wall with one side of the room with windows taking up hall the wall two arm chairs an a sofa, hard floor with a big rug, no acoustic treatment, so it’s a bit live. I followed the set up procedures to the book. Not impressed. I thought the reviews on Ytube were genuine but me thinks back handers for the reviewers

This system greatly improved the monitoring situation in my studio. I have a substantial amount of acoustic treatment in my mixing area but this system corrected a major issue with the lack of bottom end and the 150hz spike in my room. Easy to setup and works as advertised. I have two sets of monitors and used the hardware box for my main set. Because you can also use the plugin in your DAW I was also able to test and set a profile for my secondary speakers that I can use with the software. All my speakers are calibrated to my room. The sound difference is astonishing.

Utilisé avec mes Yamaha HS7, l’ARC Studio d’IK Multimedia m’a permis de corriger efficacement le manque de basses, surtout dans ma petite pièce qui souffre de résonances. L’équilibre global est bien meilleur après calibration. Le micro de mesure et le système de détection des problèmes acoustiques sont bien pensés, et le logiciel explique bien les étapes. Cela dit, la phase de mesure peut paraître un peu aléatoire ou imprécise selon l’environnement ou la rigueur de positionnement du micro. Globalement, c’est un outil puissant, surtout si on n’a pas de traitement acoustique, mais il faut s’appliquer pendant la calibration pour en tirer le meilleur.

Se você monitora seu áudio no estúdio por meio de monitores de referência, é quase certeza que sua experiência se beneficiará do uso de algum tipo de correção, sendo seu ambiente tratado acusticamente ou não. Eu já utilizava o ARC 3 da IK Multimedia há algum tempo, em uma sala minimamente tratada com alguns poucos painéis da Elgato. O funcionamento era relativamente bom, resolvia parte dos problemas, mas era necessário o uso constante do plugin para isso, o que fazia com que eu tivesse o áudio corrigido somente quando usava a DAW, mas fora dela eu perdia todo o benefício desta correção. Então, a ideia era partir para uma solução que fosse systemwide. Há outras soluções semelhantes no mercado, só que eu pretendia usar algo que fosse baseado em hardware, de forma que tirasse o peso do processamento da minha CPU, mas ainda assim dentro de um orçamento controlado, e então o ARC Studio era o alvo mais certo. E hoje percebo que era exatamente o que eu precisava. Sem contar que, além dele, também melhorei o tratamento acústico do estúdio, com painéis maiores e mais robustos em conjunto com os da Elgato, o que melhorou consideravlemente a qualidade da acústica e, consequentemente, da correção aplicada. Como pontos negativos, citaria somente duas coisas: - primeiro, o padrão de conectores escolhidos para IN e OUT (XLR), já que nem todas as interfaces e monitores usam XLR, e desta forma precisei de cabos customizados (poderiam ter usado conectores combo - XLR/TRS, para facilitar); e - segundo, ele aquece um pouco durante o uso (mas quando o estúdio está com o ar ligado, isso fica bem menos perceptível).
