I have found this book especially useful for helping candidates to review their grammar knowledge. It concentrates on those areas which cause the most problems, and, because the exercises are all healthcare related, it is highly relevant for OET. Each chapter starts with a brief review of the grammar point. In my opinion it would be even better if the structures were shown in a more visual way, such as linear jigsaws, and if there were visual prompts for the verb tenses such as timelines where appropriate. I'd like to see a chapter on common healthcare collocations (e.g. respond to treatment/make a recovery/sustain a head injury etc.) Overall, however, this is a great book which I highly recommend.

I know that in this world of advertising hyperbole, saying something is 'the best' is cliche, so let me explain. I have bought several OET grammar books and used many different general grammar book. This is the only OET grammar book that I have found that provides workbook activities to actually practice the grammar point being taught. Is it perfect? No. But it is pretty good. It is a bit pricey but a lot of work has gone into this text, which is why it is the best (or at least, one of the best), ones available.
