I looked for months for the perfect chess table small enough for our game room but big enough to provide an enjoyable chess experience for the many chess enthusiasts in our family and this chess table is it! This table is solid wood, beautiful, and of high quality. It was easy to assemble and has hidden storage under the chess board, which is functional and discreet. The chess pieces that come with the table are also good quality and made of solid wood. If you are looking for a chess table, this is a good one to consider!

Edit: Despite being beyond the return window, Vevor customer service is sending a replacement out to me. A+ customer service and hopefully the warping issue was just a one-off Less than 2 months old and the board itself has warped for no particular reason. Will no longer lay flat. It’s just decor, haven’t even used it to play anything. Warping would not occur with normal use anyway, in my opinion.

I really wasn't expecting a tournament ready chess set. The pieces are identical. Nicely weighted. Very high quality. But vinyl board is just so so. Not as good as a tournament one but very close and for seven bucks you can't beat this. I bought several more. (Really helps to leave it out in the sun on a hot day so it will smooth out) Also the case it comes in is a very nice touch and can also fit a clock inside as well

Everyone who is saying how amazing this is for the price paid around $8... And for that price it is a phenomenal deal. These are branded, as if they were done kind of promotional giveaway at a convention. But the price just went up over $20. I wouldn't buy it for that. There are other similar sets that don't have wonky branding blasted across the bag. Besides, the may and pieces are notably lower quality than typical tournament chess sets that look the same in pictures. So... $8 it's a deal. Pass on it at $20 though.

It’s beautiful! I wish the chess pieces where a stronger material because we have a nosy, chews everything raccoon! We absolutely love it! Incredibly easy to put together!

Looked like a great piece. Legs and base were nice and sturdy. Had high hopes. Until I installed the game board. Very warped and unplayable. Returned on the first day.

c est un très bel échiquier,pour un peu plus de 50 euros , je suis bluffer par la qualité de l assemblage. il est tellement beau qu il fait maintenant parti de ma décoration intérieur de mon salon.

Le pondría 5 estrellas pero ocurren dos cosas: las piezas de ajedrez son pequeñas y no son especialmente bonitas. El backgammon está bien. Pero lo más importante de todo es que la mesa es de tamaño tan “exacto” o justo que no hay donde reposar las piezas comidas en ajedrez o sacadas en el backgammon. Es decir, esta mesa para cumplir su función elemental necesita…OTRA MESA!!

There are no magnetics on the pieces as advertised, and the checker pieces have no wool pads. It's a matter of time to scratch the whole board.
