I love this stuff, but not for its intended use. I use it for ME! I tried it on my dog’s paws, and it definitely worked. But he is very fluffy, and this stuff is oily when melted by body heat… needless to say, I ended up with a mess. I have to use a very, very small amount and apply with fingers instead of straight from the tube if I want to use it on him. I did discover, however, that it’s the best HUMAN cuticle balm ever invented. I have extremely dry, hard cuticles and have tried so many brands of balm and cream from cheap drugstore stuff to the stupid-expensive department store and boutique brands. Nothing has EVER really worked. But this amazing, wonderful balm had FIXED my cuticles. And I rub the excess on my elbows, so they’re now smooth and soft, too! It’s a miracle product! (And check out the label… unlike almost every other hand product out there, there are no chemicals, additives, petroleum products, or things you can’t pronounce. It’s just natural, healthy waxes and oils.)

Despite it being in a container that makes application waaaaaaaay way easier than other products that do the same, it’s a balm that can be a little messy if your dog has a lot of fur around their paws. The little hairs will stick to the balm and the applicator, so you may waste a little bit of product here and there always wiping it off to keep it clean. However, it definitely gives results. We live in a very rural area, so my dog will go out often during the day to play and lay in the sunshine. Walking over our concrete pad and gravels, his paws will do what any animal’s paws will do: they toughen. Especially during the winter months, they will be pretty dry. I put the product on his paws at night prior to us going to bed since he’ll usually sleep through the night, as well. That best time to put it on them when you know they’ll sleep or be off their paws for a while because this stuff WILL transfer to your flooring when they walk around if they’re indoors. His paws were pretty dry and rough from playing a lot this past winter, but with one application alone I saw an improvement with the texture. They felt much more moisturized and wasn’t as hard. I’ve been able to put a few more applications on him since receiving it, and in under a week, his paws definitely feel much more soft — he can finally grip the flooring now when he walks instead of sliding everywhere from how dry they were (they weren’t cracking though, which the product on the box says to not use them on their paws are). It doesn’t have any odor and you get a good amount in the tube (which is a decent size that should last a long time since you don’t need to apply much). Definitely worth trying out if you’re looking to help your pet’s paws.

Works well for rough paws and dry noses. Every few nights when we're done with outside business for the day, I dab a little bit on my boy's paws, then work it in gently, and they feel a lot smoother immediately. I also rub just a tiny bit on the top of his nose (where the "rubber" part of the nose meets the furry part) when it looks a little dry. It has a pleasant though non-lingering scent, almost like cookie butter. Also, it doesn't leave any greasy residue on fabric.

It is a useful and recommended product, especially if your pet has mild to moderate dryness.

The product is fine but my cat hates it! She just ends up licking her paws like crazy if I put this on her, so it isn't able to help much

Sehr praktisch, kann man super auftragen. Ich will nicht sagen, das mein Hund es toll findet, aber dadurch das es so unkompliziert geht, lässt er es sich gefallen. Wirkt natürlich auch, die Pfötchen sind geschützt und hinterher schön weich.

Ce stick fait grand bien aux coussinets et à la truffe de nôtre labrador qui a tendance à faire tout et n'importe quoi. Parfait ! Le type d'applicateur (stick) et bien plus pratique qu'une crème classique.
