Dow Corning Molykote 55 Oring Grease 5.3oz

I always use the Molykote 55 when i work on my Pool equipment on al the rings when I reassemble the parts as it helps lubricate them and slightly expanse them to help seal the joint. this works great for that, and its made for o rings. petroleum jelly is not good for O rings.

The amount was more than enough for my use.

This is primarily used in the aviation industry because it is so good. I use it for any O ring equipment in my garage and any sporting equipment that uses O rings. It it simply the best and will prolong O rings use and ability to function and seal. For personal use a tube will last a long time. The supplier did take a couple of weeks to deliver even through Amazon so take the into account but if in no hurry they delivered. Could possible buy locally but was easy to order on line.

This stuff is recommended by Bendix for air valve lubricant for orings and moving parts in valves. It works perfect and is high quality.

been using this product on o ring for 10 years, wouldn't use anything else

I’ve used this stuff for over 20 years as an aircraft mechanic. . Its great for seals in a dry environment and in wide temperature ranges. Keeps seals and o-rings conditioned preventing them from drying out. It also makes automotive hoses/vacuum lines easy to install and remove when needed. Its spendy but worth it

This stuff works well in so many situations (including o-rings). The 5.3oz tube is huge and I suspect I'll be passing it on half-full (or more) to my descendants.
