Amazing tool, great buy and simple to use.
This is a very simple but amazing tool. I have struggled to open many jars and milk/orange cartons in the past but not anymore. This is a total game changer and if I need to use it I know it will do the job with ease. It is easy to grip with sore arthritic hands too. I do have a little issue with it and that is it doesn’t open pop bottles, the lids on them are too small for this tool to grip but my nutcracker deals with them so not a problem for me. Great tool.

Bottles and cans but not jars
Not awful at all as a jar opener, which is a shame. I think the bottle opener and ring pull gizmo should be fine but I tried the jar opener on both a wide mouth jar of beetroot (the opener was too small to fit), and also a bottle of cordial that was stuck. Because it only has a sponge type material on one side, the stuck lid just spun against the plastic side and never gripped at all.Nice robust build with good grips on the outside but as a jar opener it just doesn’t work.

Doesn’t grip well.
There is a black rubber strip down one side only so it doesn’t really grip the lid well. Still found this a difficult and painful tool to use with my arthritic hands.
