Like most of the reviews mention, easy install. Yes must have the lock turn to the up/down lock position then screw together. Heavy weight, Bluetooth reaches far. Multiple fingerprints and fingers per user. Very nice! I’ll buy another fur my back door

It was initially not an easy install only because the instructions don't say ANYTHING about having the deadbolt 'ENGAGED' when installing the deadbolt. Thus requiring me to take the lock off and engage the deadbolt. In other words, the deadbolt lock mechanism needs to be in the LOCKED position.Other than that, the actual install was simple, setup was simple, adding lock to the app was simple. Getting copies of the keys, IMPOSSIBLE.The deadbolt is durable, sturdy and well made. The finish on the lock is beautiful.CONS:Cannot UNLOCK the deadbolt from the app.Cannot make copies of the key because it is another specialty key. The key for this lock looks like a housekey that partially broke off in a lock. Another call to the company for key blanks to make copies.---‐‐----------------Seller communications is NULL & VOID!!!!

The finger print reader works but will not trigger the lock to open or close. The failure may be in the motor or the connection but either way it's just a manual classic deadbolt now that requires the use of a physical key. Very poor quality overall, would strong recommend against this purchase.

This biometric deadbolt works pretty well, but I have concerns.Firstly, the outside part of the lock is "secured" to the metal plate on the inside of the door by thin stainless steel screws. The Schlage deadbolt that this deadbolt replaced uses hardened steel bolts that are easily 4 times the thickness of these stainless screws. I'm concerned that one or two strikes with a hammer would be enough to break the whole thing apart.Secondly, while the bolt itself appears to be polished stainless steel (maybe chrome), it's so lightweight that I worry it isn't very strong--and there are many plastic bits that actuate it. I'd prefer all metal parts. I hope it lasts until Schlage makes a biometric deadbolt.Thirdly, on the inside of the door, the housing is the same material and black color as the lever that actuates the lock, making it difficult to impossible to see if it's locked or unlocked in low light from more than a couple feet away. I'll probably end up adding some white paint to part of the lever so I can see it better.On the bright side, this deadbolt was easy to install and set up. The fingerprint reader works the first time most of the time, which is great. I've never had to try more than twice. The auto locking feature is a nice thought, but a max delay of one minute isn't long enough. It usually takes several minutes to bring a carload of groceries in, so this auto locking feature will remain unusable for me. Up to a one hour delay would be nice.

This is a very cheap quality product. It works when it works but often the fingerprint would not work! That’s unfortunate because this could be a good lock. Be ware of those who think it’s so wonderful… it isn’t without flaws! Easy to install. So so quality

Works great with my fingerprint, my issue is with the app a tad slow and have to constantly resign in or reconnect to the door. No excessive where I don’t recommend just a little annoying at times
