Ware Manufacturing (2 Pack) Plastic Lock-N-Litter Pan for Small Pets - Size Regular

We use this in a muti Tier Cage setup for our Chinchillas. We tried having the litter below, but it got SO messy. This gives them an area to still do their business and helps keep the cage cleaner. There is some chewing on the plastic.. but they're chinchillas, so expected. I enjoy how it easy it is to pull off the cage wall and replace it as well. We received two in our order (intended) but haven't had to swap out to the other one due to damage or biting... so they're fairly sturdy and for the price, two was great!

These lock-in litter pans are fantastic! The 2-pack is such a great value, and they fit perfectly in my rats’ cages. The locking mechanism keeps the pan secure and prevents spills, which is a huge plus. The design is easy to clean, and the size is perfect for my pets. No more litter mess, and my rats seem comfortable using them. Highly recommend for anyone with small pets!

TL;DR Good for most small animals or baby animals, wouldn't recommend for grown ferrets due to size Good product but I wouldn't recommend it for grown ferrets due to the size. Could be good for baby ferrets but grown ferrets likely wouldn't use it because it can't fit their whole body comfortably. Mine absolutely refused to use it no matter what I tried. When my family took in some 4 week old orphaned kittens this worked perfectly for them due to the low edges making it easy to climb in. So I'd recommend this if you have other small animals or commonly work with really young kittens.

Our ferret chooses not to use it usually but when she does use it it seems like a good depth and easy for her to get in and out of without issue. The litter we bought was really not good but it holds a good amount and the box was easy to remove, so much so that she was kicking it off the little hooks when she had tantrums. Once we get her using it it’ll be a great little litter box

The item is okay, but not outstanding. The installation is easy, but all plastic, and slips easily. And something that is very annoying, is that the glue that the manufacturer/brand uses, to put the infosheet on their products, is awful! It is VERY hard to remove the glue, and the paper sticks to it like cement. I used Goo Gone, and it hardly did anything. Then i used IPA, and it did a tiny bit better. So i had to use a scraper, to remove the glue, which in turn scratched the item permanently. I don't know why they didn't use that gel like glue, that is used to glue a new credit card to a letter, or close a folder shut. Maybe a tip for the manufacturer/brand, for future items? In total the item gets a 3 star rating, but the glue gets a strong 1 star!

This corner litter pan is pretty useful when your ferrets are small, but once they're older you will need to clean it our every day as it can fill up easily. The two corner pans are great as ferrets naturally use the bathroom in a corner, if you're struggling with potty training them I would suggest getting these pans. It's easy to attach to any cage, it uses the same standard screw on from the outside of the cage as any other cage product. Now if your ferrets are trying to move the litter pan out of their way (because they aren't potty trained yet) put the hooks that go onto the litter pan facing up instead of down, this will prevent them from being able to remove it from the cage.

We have numerous pet rats and like to encourage them to contain their waste somewhat to make clean-up easier. Combined with critter litter and a smooth “pee rock,” these have worked well! We do have to replace them somewhat regularly because our rats love to chew on them, but we find the price to be reasonable for what we get out of them. We can typically leave the hooks from one pan attached to the cage and just replace the pan itself. That makes the swap-out quite simple.

My ferret would not use it just played with it pushing it up off the hooks no matterthe directioni placed the hooks i had to poke holes ajd wire the sides down but It is not big enough for ferrets so I took it out and I ended up buying a large plastic food tray it fit perfectly, she has plenty of space to do her business and super easy to keep clean.
