Light
Nice and light, bright with a good sharp light, took me a bit of time to fit but well worth it.

Good quality and excellent service
Instant light much better than florescent and cheaper to run. Easy to install and no heat.

Let there be low cost light.
The lights are very good and come with everything you need to install them, except of course the cable. There is lots of bits which are a bit fiddly to assemble, a bit of patience is needed. I have fitted them in my garage replacing the old fluorescent types that I had, they give off a good daylight colour and light up instantly, don't forget they save on your energy bill, and no annoying hum. I wired them via a junction box as the existing wiring is all flat 1.5mm twin and earth cable, switched at either end of the garage. Now I cut to length a piece of round twin and earth flex, prepared both ends and tinned all cable ends, you don't need to tin the ends it just makes for easier wiring, I assembled the complete light fitting on the floor, installed the cable gland, the cable, the fuse which is like the old starter lamp, the lamp contacts at either end which are already prewired and just need pressed into their slots. You then have the ten clips that hold the lamp cover, to press into place. Fit the tube, but make certain you install it the correct way round or it wont light, it is marked as such. Before closing up, I then fitted a plug to make certain it all worked as expected. If all is well, fit the protective cover (The glass) your pretty much done, one other thing is when fitting the outer cover the two outer clips on one side act as hinges when clipped in. So if you hang it horizontal you want the hinges to be on the bottom edge so that cover folds down to give clear access to the tube, against a wall the hinges would be nearest the wall. Now all you have to do is fit the brackets where required, clip your light fitting into place and connect the power supply. Four star because of the time to assemble all the bits otherwise great.

It's very flimsey so requires the gental touch
The finished installation looks great, no misgiving about that. I'm a retired electrician so attention to detail when installing it is essential, rush at your peril. The fitting itself is very flimsy, the fixings iare very poor it doesn't hold the fitting secure and will jump out of the supplied grab clamps if touched like changing the lamp etc. I had too (as it was fixed to the wall) place between the back wall and the fitting a 9 mm thick double sided pad which solved the problem. As I already said it looks great and would if I needed another hostile fitting buy again because at the price it’s good value. This was in stalled in my galley kitchen with little traffic, any industrial sight I wouldn’t.

Nice replacements for fluorescent tube lights.
A very nice aspect is that the light fittings come with their LED tubes, which many in the high street hardware stores do not. Fitting was relatively easy although there were a couple of diffuser cover clips on each that did not seem to want to close easily no matter how carefully you had positioned the cover and with the light fitting mounted perfectly flat. The attempts can be a bit fiddly as you do this with the fitting already on the ceiling and it leaves some lingering doubt over the quality of seal you get from the cover I was very pleased with the level of lighting compared to the old 4 foot fluorescent tube lights that these replaced; it is a marked improvement. The instant light on turning them on is handy too.

Excellent customer service
Contacted customer service when light stopped working 6 months after installing. The very next morning a courier delivers a new LED tube (with fuse) - absolutely fantastic customer service - couldn't ask for anything better. Oh, by the way new tube fitted - light now working!

Needed a little fettling but pretty good!
This is my second one of these and they're good. As expected, these start up instantly and provide un-flickering bright light. My only minor niggles are, firstly, that you get two "starter-motors" with it. One with the housing, and one with the LED tube which is a bit confusing if you haven't used these before. In short, I used the one provided with the tube. I held that up to the light and it looked like a passthrough wire. The other just appears to be a fuse so maybe both would work? As with anything mains, zzz-bangy, if in doubt, ask a spark. The other niggle is that the guillotine terminal connectors inside don't grip onto single-core wire very well (if at all). I use the flat grey ribbon 3-core and it's not very flexible (for a good reason) and simply pulls straight out with the slightest movement. It's easy enough to replace the attached block with a standard screw down one but worth mentioning if you're in the same situation. Other than that, you get everything else you need (mounting brackets, screws, etc) and can get it up and running very quickly.
